Chapter 4 Surprise at 'The Sunset Affair'

'OMG, I can't believe you got us here. Are you sure we can get inside?' Angie asked looking really excited.

'Of course we are getting inside. I had to request a few people but I managed to get passes to this party.' I said proudly.

It was nothing much. 'The Sunset Affair' was one of the coolest clubs you would ever come across. And what was more cool was the bloc party they held every six months, where you get the best drinks, best music, and of course the best crowd. So to make it up to my friends I had to pull some strings and get the passes for this bloc party. I knew Nat and angie always wanted to come and this was for now best way to apologize.

'Dude this party was sold out like four months ago, I can't believe you squeezed us in. I love you for this.' Nat said blowing me a kiss.

'Are we going to discuss this forever or are we going inside?' I asked laughing.

'We are definitely going inside.' Angie announced.

With that we went inside and as soon as we entered the music filled my ears. This time they were having some Mark guy as their DJ since he was quite popular these days. He was pretty good I must say. So without wasting time we started to take in the music and danced our way to the dancing floor.

'Thank you for this.' Angie mouthed. I replied her with a wink.

Soon we were tired and decided to take a break.

'Who wants some drinks?' Nat shouted. 'Me' me and Angie said together.

He went to get some drinks for us and by the time we girls found a comfy couch to sit on.

'You know what this is my best post birthday party ever. I think you should forget my birthday often.' Angie said.

'Oh I am never doing that again. I would rather die than forget your birthday again.'

'Drama Queen!'

'Well here go ladies I have your drinks.' Nathan came back handing us over our drinks.

'Hey, Nat where's your drink?' I asked raising an eyebrow.

'Well you see I actually found some one and I think I am going to talk to her for a while. I hope you guys don't mind?' He looked at us nervously.

It's not new Nathan always finds someone and then he is as good as invisible. So I was not surprised though I knew Angie wouldn't be happy about it. So I looked at her to know what she feels.

'It's okay Nat you should probably go. You know it's bad to keep a girl waiting.' Angie said with a smile.

'What?' Me and Nat exclaim at the same time.

'You sure Angie?' Nat asked, he be really feeling bad about it.

'C'Mon Nathan I am totally fine with it. And don't worry about me, I have this devil to keep me busy.' She said pointing towards me.

I smiled a bit. I must I was surprised she didn't say anything to him.

'Okay then I'll leave. Just let me know you guys want to leave.' With that Nat left.

'So....' i wanted to ask her why she said yes but then she beat me to it.

'I said yes because he was there for me yesterday and honestly speaking I don't want him to feel that I boss around.' She said with a smile.

'I get it.' After that we drank a few more drinks, talked about people, movies, music and the usual gossip. After a while we decided to dance again and headed to the dance floor. While we were dancing a guy came up to Angie and asked if he could dance with her, she agreed. And I left mouthing an 'enjoy' to her. Smiled and I made my way to the bar.
