"Love is an untamed force. When we try to control it, it destroys us. When we try to imprison it, it enslaves us. When we try to understand it, it leaves us feeling lost and confused."
TIA P.O.VI woke up with a pounding headache and groaned at the pain that was currently settling in my head. I opened my eyes and adjusted to my current surrounding. Looking up I saw a crystal chandelier which I knew was worth a few millions with the amount of diamonds hanging from it.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion peering around the unfamiliar room. Next to me was a glass of water and some tablets. My throat was awfully dry so I gulped the water down but left the tablets not knowing what they were.
The walls were a gorgeous cream colour and the blanket that I was currently snuggling into were soft merino wool fabric. It was woven with what looked like gold however I thought that maybe I was just imagining things. But the thing that had be confused the most was the gorgeous man lying next to me in bed.
I recognised him as that man who's taxi I had taken. I analysed his face taking in his features; his stubbly beard which looked delicious on him, his strong jaw structure and his pink full lips which were slightly parted. His hair looked soft and all I could think about was running my hand through it and... wait what was I thinking. I blushed to myself removing the thoughts that were running through my head about this man.
A sense of panic rushed through my mind and I suddenly recalled last night and how I nearly got kidnapped by that weird old man. I could feel my arm hairs rising but then looked at the sleeping man besides me and I couldn't help but feel at peace just watching him sleep but I knew that I had to get up and leave. I gently removed myself from the bed and made my way into the joint bathroom.
I gawked my eyes at the sight of the bathroom, the floor was covered in marble and I knew that it was bigger than my bedroom back at the apartment. Speaking of apartment, I wondered where Kristen thought I was. I found a mirror and looked at the state of myself. My eyes were red and puffy full with sleep, my hair was greasy and it stunk.
I realised that someone must have changed me because this shirt was definitely not mine. As weird as it sounded the shirt was soft and I really didn't want to return it back. I turned the tap on and splashed the cold water onto my face refreshing myself before I used a towel to wipe my face and sneaked back into the bedroom.
I looked around for my phone before I found it on the man's bedside table so I snuck over and grabbed it shoving it in my bra. I took a pen from the stunning man's bedside draw and wrote on a piece of paper:
Thank you for saving me. That was very kind of you and I will forever be in your debt for ensuring that I was taken care of. However, I think it would be best if we both forget about that situation and continue going back to our own individual lives. Tia X
I grabbed my shoes and shoved them on before glancing at the man for a final time and leaving the bedroom. I sneaked down the hall and it took me about ten minutes to try and find an exit because this house was too damn big. I sighed and looked around trying to find an emergency exit or something.
I turned around and found an elevator. "rich people" I muttered under my breath before I got in and looked at the different levels of the buildings. There were 6 levels and I rolled my eyes before pressing the ground level. The elevator stopped and opened and I was suddenly in what looked like a garage.
My mouth opened in shock staring at all the cars that were stood before me. There must have been at least 20 cars if not more. I suddenly wondered why the man needed to take a taxi when there were so many cars in this rooms. I got back into the elevator and then pressed level one hoping that this was the way to escape this hotel, sorry I meant house.
