1. What are these feelings?

Lauren's Pov:

As I walk into the school building, it was already packed with students. It wasn't seconds until I already felt eyes on me, I even saw a girl biting her lip just staring at me, guys whistling to get my attention and even some fuck boys winking at me. What can I say? I look good.

As I was walking down the hallway, I passed a few cheerleaders. I then winked at them and they all blushed, pfft typical.

I then walked up to the recepcionist and the girl gave me my class schedule and my locker number. Moments later I winked at her, "See ya around." I said as the girl blushed in response.

As I was walking to my locker number, I noticed a few jocks and cheerleaders making fun of a really beautiful girl. I really didn't care, but the girl looked so beautiful. She looked so innocent, yet so gorgeous. What are these feelings?

I then walked up to the jocks, "Leave her alone." I then pushed them aside and helped the girl up, "You okay?" I asked, the girl then nodded. "Who are you to tell us what to do!?" a jock said, "I wouldn't say your mom, since she raised you to be a pussy." I say. The jock then gets angered and tries to punch me, but then he misses. So I take the opportunity and twist his knuckles, I then laugh as he whimpers in pain.

"Not so tough now, are you?" I say as I push him to the far end of the hall, "What are you looking at? Beat it!" I shout at the other jocks. They then gave me one last glance and ran off, "Pfft, pussy's." I mumble.

"No one has ever defended me before." the girl whispers, but loud enough for me to hear. "What's your name?" I ask, "I'm Y/N Y/L/N," the girl says. "Nice name. I'm Lauren, Lauren Jauregui." I say as I let out a hand for her to shake, which she gladly shook. "So, why are they, those assholes bullying a beauty like you?" I ask out of curiosity, Y/N then blushes "Well.. I'm kind of the school nerd, I have no friends and they just do. But as the time passes... I guess I get used to it." Y/N then sighs as she looks to the ground.

"No friends? You seem like you have heaps, you're really beautiful. Don't let those assholes beat you up with words, even physically." I said, the girl then looks up to me. "You're the first person to ever call me beautiful, thank you." Y/N says, aww she's so adorable. "Don't sweat it, I'm just being honest." I then smile at her and she smiled back, moments before we could say anything else, the bell rang. "See ya around?" I say, "See you around." Y/N says as she smiles and walks away to her first class.

During my first period of class, the teacher wouldn't stop calling me to answer. It was always, 'Lauren answer this' and 'Lauren answer that'

Isn't she aware that their are other students in this class? I was getting bored, so I used the last twenty minutes and used the bathroom excuse.

But before I could leave the class to use the 'bathroom' the teacher suddenly asks "why do you need to go to the bathroom?" I then rolled my eyes, "I don't know, to unlock the chamber of secrets. Why do you think I need to go!?" I answered sarcastically. Seriously, that was the most stupid question I have ever heard.

"Answering back on the first day? I'll be calling your parents." the teacher said, "Whatever." I said as I rolled my eyes and walked out of the class. Does she even know who she's talking to? Good thing I know how to keep my cool.

As I was walking around school, I got bored, as usual. So then I decided to go to mcdonalds, because who doesn't like mcdonalds?

But as I was about to exit the school building, the lunch bell rang. I then sighed, so much for Mcdonalds.

As I got to the front of the cafeteria door, I rolled my eyes and walked in. As I was walking to find a table, I already got alot of glares from alot of students.

Minutes later, I found a table. I then took my earphones and put it on, ignoring the whole school.

Since I was bored, I started reading some peoples minds.

I started off with one of the hot cheerleaders, "that new girl is so hot, I want her to take my body and do me on the table." I then smirked when I saw the girl staring at me.

The next person I chose to read the mind of was one of the jocks, "I'm so handsome, I bet I could get the new girl to sleep with me." I then rolled my eyes, cocky much?

Why does everyone want to sleep with me? Oh wait, because I'm irresistably hot.

A few minutes after doing what I was doing, I saw Y/N. She was holding a tray filled with food trying to find a seat, but as I observed, no one would want to sit with her.

I was going to call her over until a jock put his foot out and tripped her, Y/N then fell to the ground with all her food spilled on her. Not even seconds after the whole school laughed at her and to make it worst, a jock poured milk all over her.

Y/N then started tearing up as she rushed and tried to run out of the cafeteria, but before she ran out she bumped into me.

I then grabbed Y/N's shoulder and looked at her, "Hey, don't cry. You'll ruin your beautiful face." Y/N then looked at me and pulled me into a tight embrace as she cried into my neck. It kind of broke my heart that she was crying, I then hugged her back and ignored all the glares from the students.

I sware to god, when school is over, I will end that jocks life.

I then broke out of the embrace and looked into Y/N's eyes, "Wait here." I said as I started to walk over to the laughing jock. I then tapped on his shoulder and as the jock turned around, I punched him right in the middle of his face. My punch was so strong that he fell back with his nose bleeding, I probably broke his nose but.. Who cares? "You do that again and I will end you!" I shouted as I walked back to Y/N.

I then grabbed Y/N's hand and lead her to the bathroom.

I don't even know why I was being so nice to this girl, a girl I don't even know is making me feel things I haven't felt before. A good feeling, a feeling of wanting to protect her and always be with her. What am I feeling?

As Y/N and I got to the bathroom, I helped her clean up. I even gave her my favourite jacket to cover up the stain on her shirt, "Their ya go, all nice and cleaned up" I said as I gave her a side smile.

"I don't know who you are but, you're a really amazing person." Y/N said, "Thanks!" I said.

"D-do yo-you want to ha-ha-hang out la-later?" the girl stuttered, "I me-mean if you don't wa-" I then cut her off. "Sure, i'd love to!" I said as I gave her a toothy smile, Y/N then smiled back.

"Meet me at the parking lot later." I said as I walked out of the bathroom.
