14. Goodbye, Ma.

Lauren's Pov:

Everyone gathered around my mother's casket, some crying, some angered.

It was then my turn to speak.

I walked up to the front, where everyone could see me.

"My mother... She was amazing." I pause, "I remember the day that she thought me how to properly use my teleporting powers, but instead of teleporting to the exact location... We fell into the ocean." the crowd then chuckled. "You see, my mother... She was always there for me, caring and loving me with everything. I even remember the fights we would sometimes have, but make up with Ice-cream and late night talks." tears were now trying to fall out of my eyes, but I wouldn't let it. "I love her and I always will love her, I know right now... She is probably somewhere smiling and proud of me, proud of us. I-I" tears then started streaming down my face, "I promise that I will make her proud, I'll always remember you ma..." I was now crying so hard that I didn't notice Ruby coming up to me and embracing me. "I-I already m-miss you... I l-l-love you so much." I then totally broke down and fell to my knees, at this point everyone had tears in there eyes.

I then walked off the stage and ran outside.

As I reached the beach, I started crying. "Why did you leave, Ma!?" I shouted, "I can't do it without you! You're my everything, n-now you're gone!" I then fell to the ground and cried with my head in the sand. "Ma! D-don't t-tell me you're gone, p-p-please wake me up! Tell me this is a dream!" I then started crying more, "p-please Ma!"

Moments later, I felt someone bring me into a hug.

I then looked up with puffy eyes, "s-she's really gone." I then started to cry into Y/N's neck. "B-baby don't cry, please. I know she's always going to be here, baby don't cry." I then held onto her tighter.

"I-I c-can't live without her... S-s-she thought me everything." Y/N then started crying as well, "Baby don't cry, you're making m-me c-cry."

Moments later, we were holding eachother. Crying onto eachother, "Goodbye, Ma."

I was sitting in the bar room of my mansion, drinking my second bottle of wine.

As I was drinking, a slow song started playing.

late night stories, running naked, cutting through the breeze.

I then put one hand in my hair as I drank with the other.

Kissing your eyes, working onto our heads.

Tears then started flowing out of my eyes, "Why did you leave, Ma?"

Catching stars and see preses up to me, Whispers 'take me in'

I then took another sip of the wine.

Soft skinned covered shells, hearing distant bells, into the atmosphere.

I then put my elbows onto my knees as I held my wine bottle.

I know, I know.

I then shook my head.

Now it's time to move on.

I was about to throw my bottle until a hand stopped me.

"Baby..." I then breathed in, "I-I'm s-sorry, I-I-I j-just miss her..." I then cried onto Y/N's shoulder.

"Baby, don't cry. Your mother would hate to see you like this, please baby." Y/N said as she wiped my tears away, "Goodbye, Ma." Y/N then shook her head. "No, she's still here." Y/N then pointed to my heart, "It's not goodbye."
