Chapter 3

Naruto's Pov

Everything was in a blur. You couldn't notice particular details when Sasuke was in a hurry to go somewhere. It was kind of soothing in a way. The wind tangled my long golden hair into knots. Something told me, I would have to get somebody to teach me how to do it.

"Since Kakashi's worried it must be pretty serious," I whispered softly in Sasuke's ear and he patted my head.

"Your worried aren't you," I nodded my head while yawning. Another thing about this body, I get tired faster.

"Naruto you should sleep. I'll be gentler on my landings ok?" I groggily nodded my head and unconsciously placed my head in Sasuke's neck. It was warm and smelled of sweat with a little bit of cinnamon. I decided I liked this scent and keep my head laying there.

I wrapped my arms around Sasuke's neck and slowly began to fall asleep. That was until Sasuke landed really hard on branch causing me to fall off. I only had a matter of time before my guts were splattered everywhere.

"Naruto!" Sasuke plunged down to try to grab me, but I decided I could pull my own weight. Even though, I was tired and ready for a nap, maybe some food too.

On my way down, I grabbed a tree branch and swung myself around, landing on the top of it. Sasuke also landed on the same branch, checking me over for bruises or cuts.

"Are you alright." I nodded my head and dusted myself off.

"Yeah I dozed off a bit, so I guess I lost my grip and fell off," he nodded his head and offered to give me another ride, which I accepted.

"You guys ok," Kakashi asked while smiling behind that black mask of his. We both nodded and Sasuke continued the journey back to the village.

Sakura's Pov

He never offered to give me a ride on his back, so what makes him so special. I don't see him as a girl at all. Even though, his hair is any girls dream. I mean, Ino doesn't even have pretty golden hair like that.

But still, I can't help but to feel jealous of him. Maybe that's because Sasuke doesn't let any girl near him, but that's because they're friends, right?

As I was in my thoughts, I lost my footing on the branch and Kakashi rushed over to save me.

"Sakura be more carful and aware. We don't have time for slip ups." I nodded my head and bit my lip. Even as a girl Naruto is more useful than me.

Sasuke's Pov

After we got to the village, we went straight to the hokages office. Tsunade was stressfully finishing paperwork, while Shizune helped deliver them. I put my hand on the handle and shoved the big doors open.

"Lady Hokage, something happened with Naruto." She looked up and her eyes widened. She quickly made her way over to Naruto and examined him.

"How did this happen," Naruto was still asleep and had a smile on her face. Tsunade on the other hand looked very annoyed.

"He touched it didn't he," we nodded our heads and she motioned for us to follow her.

"We're are we going Tsunade," Sakura asked while brushing out her hair with her fingers. Tsunade did some kind of gesture towards Sakura and her face turned white.

"Your really going to do that to him, shishyou?" Tsunade nodded her head and Sakura rubbed the inside of her arm, while shivering.
