Naruko's Pov

"Alright Naruko and Sasuke are you sure you'll be ok going on this mission without back up," we looked at each other and then at Tsunade.

"Of course we are baa-chan. We're strong enough," she sighed and nodded, while handing us a secret scroll.

"Get this scroll to the right destination. Do not let other ninja get there hands on it even if that means sacrificing your own lives," I gulped and nodded, while Sasuke grabbed my hand and led me out the door.

"Alright Sasuke lets get going," I smiled and tucked the scroll safely into my side pouch, while walking to the gates of Kohana.

"Dobe you better not get hurt. I offered to be the one to carry it," I shook my head and patted my side pouch.

"No need to worry about me I can take care of myself," I pouted and he rolled his eyes.

"Hn," he jumped up from the ground and into the trees.

"H-hey wait up for me," I followed behind him but couldn't catch up. Figures, Sasuke is naturally fast.

"Sasuke slow down," he looked back at me and smirked.

"Should have been paying attention dobe," I growled and threw a kunai at the tree in front of him, stopping him from taking another step forward.

"Hey dobe! What to you think your doing," I landed on the tree he was standing on and rolled my eyes.

"Hn, you should have been paying attention teme," I mockingly said while Sasuke tsk'ed.

*time skip-night*

"Hey teme, is this spot good to set up camp," he looked around and checked the surrounding with his sharingan.

"Yeah dobe it's good," I smiled and nodded my head, starting a fire. I crouched down and put my hands out towards the fire, to keep them warm.

"Say teme."

"Hmm,"

"Do you think it'll get colder," he looked up at the sky and the stars reflected in his eyes. I knew at that moment, I wanted to be with him forever.

"Well it's weird for it to get so cold during summer, but if it does you can sleep next to me," he smiled over at me and I looked into the fire while blushing.

"Sasuke, there's something I want to tell you," he looked over at me with a curious face and nodded his head. I smiled back and took a deep breath in.

"Sasuke, I love you," I looked over at him to see an emotionless face. I felt my heart be ripped in half.

"I can't say my feeling right now," I lowered head and put on a fake smile.

"That's alright," I laid down on my back and looked up at the stars, trying not to cry. I ended up falling asleep that night without Sasuke.

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty," I felt a light poke in my side and I grunted loudly.

"W-wha," I lightly opened my eyes and saw Sasuke staring down at me. I blushed and jumped up from the ground, making sure to dust the dirt off.
