This was it, sprinting at a insane speed dicing the tree's into wood chips in front of me. And then it shined through, the light at the end of the tunnel. After hours of running as fast as I could and slashing everything in my tunnel vision. I opened up into the open field. The wind blew as the sun pierced into my skin filling my body with life. I closed my eyes and embraced it, and when I opened them up, miles down the hill something caught my attention. Buildings standing, small houses, A VILLAGE! I took off down the hill with my long hair flailing in the breeze. It would take a hour at most but the sun was also setting. It would most likely be night by the time I got there. No time to waste, I had to get there.

My calculations weren't very far from wrong, it was night when I got down to the little village. Little lantern's lit up the hut type houses. I was guessing it was a farming village. No one would recognize me, and I knew my identity would have to be hidden still wearing my families clothes. Then I saw it on the line, A nice hood with long cape, if I tucked my sword into the sheath that my old sword used on my back I could sneak it behind the hood. I took the headband that I carried for years and wrapped it back wards onto my wrist so that no one would see the emblem on it. I lurked behind the house, going house by house to the hooded cloak. I ripped it off the line with one quick tug and wrapped it around my torso so that no one could see my clothes or blade and pulled the hood over my long hair. I slowly started to walk towards what looked like the tavern from my old home which father didn't want me around. I walked hesitantly to it, glaring side to side, but then of course a snap behind me grabbed my attention.

I turned around to a tall figure with armor and a sword at his side. I could tell he didn't like the rapid turn I did because he took a few steps back and his hand grasped the hilt of his blade. I looked up at him.

He opened his mouth and glanced at me. "You peasant, what are you doing?"

Wow, I could tell this was a rookie guard, no one would ask such a stupid question to a man in a long cloak. "Figured I'd grab a drink, couldn't be too much of a sin." I said with a smart alack tone. I couldn't help but to think to myself, "What a dumbass."

"I haven't seen you around stranger. You from out of town?"

Oh my god, this couldn't be happening. He's trying to ask me why I'm here. From outta town, man everyone must know everyone here. If just by height and hood I look outta town then that's just ridiculous. "Listen buddy, I just was going to get a drink. I think what I'm doing here is none of your business. Besides I'm just passing through. So leave me the hell alone." What can I say, it's been awhile since I saw other people and after the day I had, I really didn't want to see THIS one right now at all.

"You listen........."

Oh my god he isn't going to stop. But when I crossed my eyes and pretended to pay attention he only continued. This wasn't going well. I could jump at him right now and no one would see. Oh my god! Of course another guard had to come around the corner.

"Max." the second guard said, "What's going on here?"

This guard who I now know is Max looked at the second guard, "It's a outta town-er copping attitude."

The second guard got a smirk that stank of trouble, "Oh really? Wait,......what?! That looks like old man Charlestons Cloak!" He whipped back at the house and saw a gap on the clothesline where the cloak was missing between the clothes. "You stole? FROM A OLD MAN AT THAT!"

Well this was news to me. I didn't know it was just a old man's. Oh well, screw this, I don't have time for it!

Max mustered some courage out of god knows where, "Give that here! Take the cloak off you, YOU VILLAIN!"

A smirk grew on my face and the moon glared my smirk and Max stared at my smile. "Well well, someone got some spunk huh? Here I'll make you a deal, you come try to get it and get wrecked or you can walk away now and forget seeing me. How's that sound Maxxy-boy? Eh Mr. uh, didn't catch your name." I haven't seen civilization in a long time. So yeah, not that much of a people person after living in god forsaken woods for two years.

"You're really gonna make us do this?" The second said as his grin dropped.

I let out a sigh and spoke up, "Uh yeah, I am."

He drew his sword and Max right behind him pulled his sword out too. The second guard let out a yell and charged with Max behind him. I quickly duck Max's sword and grabbed his wrist using his sword to stop the second guards. I slid my left foot down and with one sweep took Max's legs out of under him and used my right foot to kick his chest and back-flip up to my feet. The second guard came back swinging furiously at me and my hood fell back behind me from dodging his attacks and grabbed his swinging arm and broke his elbow upward with my knee then swung around and sent him flying back. Max pulled something to his mouth, oh please no. It's a whistle, and he blew that thing to his hearts content and I heard a rumble of footsteps. A lot more guards surrounded me then I thought there were. Even though I could kill everyone of them I didn't want to hurt them. But I saw no choice. Each one came at me swinging rapidly and Max and the guard I kicked joined it. Dodging and quickly moving I nailed two in the stomach and back sprung, kicking them in the head. Then used my hands to shoot myself back into two more guards who got hit right in the chest by my boot. I caught one guards wrist with my wrist and laid a nice jab into his forehead and choke-slammed him into the ground. Another guard came stabbing so I swiftly moved aside and took him by arm and elbow, ripping him to my right his body got momentum and lifted off the ground and I spun in a circle taking out 7 more guards and whipped the guard I held into another 3.

Half laid there banged up and bruised and started to stand up I sighed and put in my insight, "You guys should really stay down." But they didn't listen and came at me again, "Damn it guys!" I gripped the hilt of my sword and as it unraveled its spikes and the green glow came, and my cloak blew up in and flapped in the tornado that flourished around me. "AHHH!!!" I yelled swing it in a circle, a huge wind blast flew around me and every standing guard sailing, some even blowing into buildings like if the structures were made of balsa wood. The poor ones laying on the ground who sat up got knocked back as well. I sheathed my sword and jumped in the air onto a rooftop leaving "I.O.U" On the ground infront of the old man's door. I jumped rooftops until I found a bridge area. Figured I set up camp there for tonight and lay low after the experience.
