Finding large tree's with holes in some would see as a blessing in this place. But not me, if anything at all it is a curse for the creatures who lurk in these tree's are relentless and unforgiving. I grow stronger but also tired and weary here. I rip grass out or what I can find in the ground to give me comfort. These woods are relentless to the common man. At first it was unbearable but I learned to live with it after two years. Curse this place, curse my grandfather. I will kill that bastard someday! I have grown quite curious of something though. It seems no matter where I travel, North, South, East, West, it seems I always find that shrine. But why would I find it everyday when I'm always going a different direction. Maybe I have no sense of direction and I've been fooling myself. Wouldn't be the first time I thought that. After this mist passes and I awake maybe I'll find something there to help me. I've always thought about it, month after month. Year after year it taunts me. No more, I must search the runes.

The breeze and spine quivering mist has finally past and I awoke. Another time of waking up with a sore back and pain driven singes through my muscles. Well I must travel, I know somehow I'll find that shrine. I walk through the forest for what seems like hours. Time is hard to tell sometimes unless I count and I could still be wrong. It seems so pointless because I've been to the entry of the shrine and there is nothing but darken mold and covered trinkets. Nothing of real use. Of course, that was from the door way. Not knowing what secrets this place really held.
