Sophie was never good in awkward situations. She never has been, ever since she was younger she would always avoid any thing that may seem awkward. Although she tried to avoid them, whenever she was in one she always managed to get herself out of it. Whether it was calmly finding a way or just simply walking away , she would find a way. Right now, Sophie had landed herself in a very awkward situation. Herself and Joe were just silently collecting snacks to eat for the movie. They didn't actually know why the awkward tension was there, maybe for Sophie it was because she had a sudden burst of emotion towards Joes well being when she only ignored him before. For Joe, it may have been because he found himself checking Sophie out, which he had never done before. The silence was still looming around them as the carried the snacks back to the living room. Once in the living they out everything on the table and sat back down where they were before, opposite sides of the room.
"Everybody ready?" Harry asks everyone before pressing play. The lights had been turned off and now everyone was just silently watching the horror movie being played. Sophie enjoyed horror movies. They had always been her favourite genre to watch. She found them way more interesting than romantic or action movies. Her love for horror sprouted from watching them with her family ever since she was a child. Sophie's whole family loved to come together and watch horror movies. For some reason that stopped when her father passed. She always missed those horror nights. The movie was coming to an end and Sophie was on the edge of her seat waiting to see what happened in the end. Scarcely, the music was getting louder and more dramatic. Sophies heartbeat naturally began to increase. As the music watching reaching its peak, Simon heavily placed his hands on Sophie's shoulders and yelled.
"Ahh!" Sophie screamed jumping up making everyone laugh. She held her hand to her heart which was rapidly beating.
"Simon you asshole!" She exclaimed trying to steady her breathing and laughing. Simon stood up laughing and gave Sophie a hug.
"I'm sorry please forgive me" he says laughing at the reaction he got from scaring Sophie.
"Yeah yeah whatever" Sophie replays lazily pulling away from the hug a sitting back on the sofa to find the credits were rolling.
"I missed the ending!" She exclaims jokingly. She grabbed her phone to check the time, it had gotten a little late since they put on the movie.
"I better be going" She stated getting up and having a little stretch.
"Its a little late, wanna call an uber?" Harry questions also standing up to see you out, as did everyone else.
"Oh it should be fine its only 9 o clock" She states before walking to then kitchen to grab her bag. Once she retrieved her bag she put it on her back and turned to the guys to say goodbye.
"Thank you for having me over" Sophie said and she hugged Simon
"Its no problem. Thanks for filming with me" Simon said as he pulled away from the hug.
"Anytime'' Sophie said giving Harry a warm hug. Her and Harry were really close and made some of the funniest videos together. Although Sophie and Simon hang out more than her and Harry and seemed closer, Sophie was equally close to all the sidemen. When she pulled away from Harry, Joe was casually stood beside so instead of being rude Sophie gave him a hug. It was a shock to Joe and Sophie as they had never hugged before surprisingly. After a short amount of time she pulled away and walked towards the front door.
"Bye guys!" She shouted before opening the door and exiting the sidemen house.
