You. Were all alone. No where to go, no family to run home to. Nothing. Both your parents are dead, and with you not wanting to go into foster care, you decide to run away...and you're only 8 years old.

You climbed the mountain that was rumored that those who climb it, never return. You didn't want to go back...your world was cruel. It took your beloved parents away, forcing you to go somewhere else.

You came towards the peak and there was this giant hole. You stared down it. It looked like it never ended...you just wanted to see your parents again...

So you threw yourself down the endless hole. The feeling of falling was almost...calming. In a way...you hit the ground with a thud, but you shortly woke up, almost to your dismay.

You sat up and looked around, you were on a patch of golden flowers. You guessed that they cushioned your fall. You then looked up...seeing the glimmer of light shining down. It was pretty.
You stood up and walked around, going down this hall and through a door. You remembered hearing that monsters were trapped down here. Ever since evidence of their existence, mankind has been preparing for their arrival.

You went in the doorway, and saw this tall, dark figure standing there. It looked like he was doing something. You shifted a little and he heard you. You stood still, scared. He turned around and looked down at you, shocked.

"Oh my...are you hurt,human?"

"N-no..."

"That's good to hear...uhm, no need to be afraid. I am Gaster. Nice to meet you."

He kneeled to your level and held out his hand. You smiled softly and shook it.

"I'm...(y/n)..."

"It's nice to meet you (y/n). (Y/n)...such a pretty name."

You smiled more and slightly blushed.

"Thank you...Mr.Gaster."

"You can just call me Gaster. Now then, let me guide you through the ruins. I will take you to the king and then if would like, would you like to stay with me?"

Finally. Someone was being kind to you. You couldn't help but smile and you nodded your head happily.

He took your hand and led the way. Maybe you could live here. Forever. And be happy...after all. Isn't that what your parents want? For you to really be happy.

Happiness...such a nice thought.
