Leah's P.O.V
I walked downstairs, still tired. I probably had bags under my eyes, and I knew my hair was a mess.
My sister was already at the door, looking confused. Dally nodded at me, and I exused myself and walked onto the porch, shutting the door behind me
"Did I wake you up sleepy beauty?" He asked. I nodded. I knew Kat was listening through the door.
"Do you have my bag?" I asked coldly. I mean I was tired, and Dally always shows up late. So it had to of been 11:30, atleast.
Dally gave me a confused look and grinned. "I must of forgot it at the Curtis', mind drivin' down with me?" He winked. I shook my head no. He turned around, defeated. I pulled his shoulder so his dark, mean eyes were starring at mine.
"I guess." I replied. A grin spread across his face. "Lettme tell Kat." I walked up the step into my house. Before I said anything, I was interupted by Kat.
"Why the hell is Dallas Winston here? Is he this just a friend on the phone earlier?! Or is he this friend that you spent the night at last night?!" Kat basically screamed at me. I sighed. "Explain!"
"After I got jumped, 7 guys helped me, including him. I stayed at 3 of their houses- The Curtis'. Dal drove me home this morning and I forgot my bag. He is driving me to pick it up."
"Oh, I am sorry, I didn't know." Kat looked up at her. Her big blue eyes, were faded down a little.
"I am going to get my bag now." I said breaking the silence.
"Please be careful!" Kat telled at me, but was cut off by the door.
I walked outside to find Dallas waiting, sitting on the step, smoking a cancerstick.
"Ready?"
"Ready."
We got it his car and drove fastly into the night. The stars were shining and glistening, as the moon followed us there. I spoke breaking the silence.
" Why is my bag at the Curtis' when I left it in the car?" I questioned
"Because I need an excuse to spend more time with you." He winked
"Why?"
"Because you're hot." He smirked
"Stop the car." I demanded. He looked confused.
"What?" He said, not paying the slightest attention to the road.
"I said stop the car!" I nearly screamed. The car jolted to a stop. Bringing me with it. "Bye." I said as I got out, slamming the door.
"Don't be like that," Dally was following me. "Don't girls want to be called hot?" He asked. Rain suddenly poured down. I was cold. I slowly got back in the caf. He grinned.
"No, girls don't like to be called that. We were not just put on this Earth for your eyes to stare at, or so when your horny you can just call us." He looked at me, hurt spread through his eyes. "We also have hopes and dreams. We are not just toys. You can't pick us up when you want to, and play with. Just because you are stronger and braver, doesn't mean we aren't being hurt, physically and mentally." I stopped myself because I knew I would soon be ranting. A tear slipped down my face.
Dally pulled up to the Curtis'. I was surprised we didn't get into an accident because Dal wouldn't take his eyes off me. I was mad.
Once the car was at a complete stop, I openned the car door, and headed to the porch. Dallas was right behind me, starring at my weirdly.
I openned the door revealing an empty house. Everyone was sleeping so I quietly looked for my bag.
The front door opened revealing Dallas, a tear slipping down his cheek. He held out his arms for a hug, but I shook my head no, and turned around. I felt two warm and strong arms hug me from behind. It wasn't like a "i need you in me" hug, but a friendly, symypathic hug. I hugged back.
Dally grabbed my bag, hanging on the coat rack, but of course he pulled the whole rack down.
"CRASH!" The rack fell hard. Sodapop ran in, looking scared. He didn't have on a shirt, just his pajama bottoms. I realized I was starring, when Dally elbowed me. I looked back over to Soda, who winked at me. My face turned brighr red.
"Leah, I have to ask you something." Sodapop looked at me, directly in the eyes. I looked at his eyes, melting.
"Ok, go for it."
He looked at me, then at Dal. "Alone."
Dally got up and walked away, leaving me and shirtless Soda alone.
What are you doing tomorrow night?" He asked me, bitting his lip.
"Nothing," I replied, recieving a movie star smile from Soda.
"Can I take you to the Dingo? I can pick you up at 7."
"I would love that." I said smiling. "See you then."
" Bye." Soda said returning back to his room. I walked over, threw my bag accross my shoulder. And headed out.
Dally drove me back, not saying much. We arived at my house, him begging for a hug. I hugged him and thanked him. I walked in my house and up the stairs. I creeked open the door and walked into my closet. I picked out a long black dress with a gold necklace. I set it down on my dresser amd went to sleep.I have one volunteer for Soda's girlfriend! Please comment a name and description.
