Chapter Four

Leah's P.O.V
     I woke up to my alarm clock buzzing. I rolled out of bed. I quickly remembered that today was my date with Soda. I hopped into the shower and did my business. I got out and wrapped a towel around me. I heard laughing.
     I turned around suddenly too see Soda and Steve. I ran back into the bathroom, my cheeks were burning.
    I got dressed in there and went back into my room. I looked over to my clock, it was 8:56. I jumped onto my bed. "Hi Soda. Hi Steve." I said cheerfully. I had this feelig if exitment spread through my stomach as I looled into Soda's eyes. There was a knock on the door, and the sound of 4 guys barging into my room. They sat down in a circle.
     "Let's play truth or dare!" Yelled Two-Bit. I think he was drunk.
     There was 5 "im ins" and then we started. Dally demanded he went first.
     "Leah, truth or dare?" Dally asked me. I thought for a minute before responding- "Dare!"
     "I dare you to kiss the hottest guy in the room." Dally told me smirking, he quickly whispered something in Steve's ear, who was too his left. I made out a "it is gonna be me" come from Dally's mouth.
     "Ok." I got up walking towards Dally, but quickly moved a little to his right, starring at Soda. Soda's frown went to a smile as he saw me. We kissed, and sparks flew. Laughter roared as Dally's face turned red. I went back to my spot.
     "Dally, truth or dare?" I asked, thinking of great dare.
     "Dare." He reponded cooly.
     "I dare you to...." I stopped thinking. Soda whispered to me a good dare. "makeout with the wall." I said with finalty. Dally got up and walked to my wall. "Ew! Don't do it on my wall!" I yelled just before he started.
     "To late, cupcake!" He replied kissing my wall. "You wish this was you." He motioned to the wall.
     "In your dreams, Winston!" I looked up at the clock, it was 12. We ended up playing for another hour. And walked to the Dingo and Nightly Double.
     Now we were on out way home, we all talked, and everyone decided to go home, leaving me alone with Soda. We went our seprete ways, planning on meeting each other in an hour.
     " Bye, Soda, see you in an hour." I said, turning around. He smiled and waved. I ran home. I had to get ready. I ran through the door and into my room. I said "hello" to Kat, and continued jogging to my room. I made it there and through off my converse. I grabbed my dress and necklace on my dresser and through it on. I couldn't find any nice shoes, so i barged in Kat's room and took a pair if lacey flats. I put them on and started on my hair and makeup.
     I took my hair down from the tight ponytail, revealing my thick beachy hair. I combed through it and applied some makeup. I did my usually eye makeup and decided to throw on some bold red lipstick. I sprayed some perfume and headed downstairs. At exactly 7:00 there was a knock at the door. I ran to the door, but Kat got there first. She grinned.
    Kat was questioning Soda as she walked over to me, "If it doesn't work out between you, call me." She winked. I laughed. I gave Kat a goodbye and headed out. We walked hand in hand to the Nightly Double.
     Soda spoke up, "You look beautiful." I blushed.
     "You don't look bad yourself." I shot him a wink then a grin.
We talked and talked to the Nightly Double, about school,work, the gang, everything.
We arrived at the Nightly Double, amd Soda, being the gentleman he is, payed for us, and then got us popcorn.
We sat down and began watch the movie. It was a little scary, with lots of blodd so I ended up cuddling next to Sodapop most of the time. He suggested we go, so we left. He walled me home, and I said goodbye, followed by a long, warm hug. I smelled his shirt, breathing his wonderful scent. He smiled and walked home.
I walked inside and smiled. Today was one of the best days in my life. I went upstairs and immediantly changed into some confortable clothed and sat on my bed. I fell asleep fast.

     I woke up and was planning on visting Soda at the DX. I changed into a pair if medium washed jeans, a red tee, and my white converse. I curled my hair loosely, and applied my usual makeup. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs.
     I ate a bowl if cerel, and walked back upstairs. I brushed my teeth, and applied deoderant, and perfume. I headed back downstairs.
     I walked to the DX, hoping I didn't get jumped. I arrived at the DX, only to see Sodapop kissing another girl. I stood there, shocked. I mean we weren't dating, but we were just on a date last night. I walked away, and back to the Curtis' house.
     I openned the door, and sat next to Two. Dallas walked in and sat next to me. He broke the silence, "Did you hear that Soda is with that broad Megan?" I shot him a death stare, and punched his arm and walked away.
