Amira above...
Chapter 2
"Amira!" Sage yells up the stairs.
What the hell is up with these boys and waking me up by yelling?! Can't they just nicely shake me awake and whisper not, yell at the top of their lungs!
"Whaaaaaattt?" I shout back at him, wrapping the blanket tighter around my body and rolling over already falling back asleep.
"Just because you are suspended doesn't mean you are going to sleep all day. Get your ass up already, I have chores for you to do." Sage's footsteps get louder until they reach my room and he enters, pulling the blanket off of my body causing the breeze to hit my warm skin and make me shiver.
"Now." He says dropping my blanket on the ground and walking out of my room.
"Rude." I tell after him, groaning while I picked my blanket off of the ground.
"I mean it Amira." I groaned loud enough for someone else to hear and got out of bed.
I took a quick shower but, didn't wash my hair. Reaching into my dresser, I pull out a pair of sweatpants and a plain black t-shirt. "Where is my rubber band?" I talk to myself. I look all around until I find my rubber band on my vanity hiding behind a stack of books.
I quickly tie my hair into a bun and run downstairs before Sage would start yelling again.
Except, Sage wasn't downstairs anymore and neither was Liam there was only Daniel sitting on the table eating a piece of toast and bacon while, playing on his phone.
"Where's Sage?" I ask Daniel while making my own breakfast.
"He went to work but, he gave me a list of chores and told me to give it to you. He said you better have it done before he gets home or else." Not once did he look up from his phone.
I love Daniel and all but, I'm not as close to him as I am with Liam and Sage. Daniel is more of that kid that you see at school and you'll talk to him when none of your friends are around because you don't want to be lonely.
I think Daniel and I aren't that close because we are so close in age so, he sees me at school and he knows exactly of how much of a loser I am and since he's popular, he doesn't talk to me in school and he doesn't really talk to me at home either.
I walk over and take the list from Daniel's hand and look it over.
1. Wash the dishes
2. Mop the kitchen floor
3. Vacuum the living room
4. Wash everyone's beddingIt actually wasn't that much stuff to do and I don't mind because I didn't have anything else planned today except sleep.
Daniel left a couple minutes later and that left me by myself... Just like every other day in my life.
I ate my bowl of cereal quickly and started on my chores right away.
I started by washing all the dishes since I was already in the kitchen. After, the dishes I threw the bedding's into the wash and went back into the kitchen to mop the floor. After the floor was sparkling clean, I vacuumed the living room. By the time that I finished that, the dryer had beeped, notifying me that the laundry was done. I walked to the laundry room an took the bedding's out and put it back onto everybody's bed.
Done.
It's 11 o'clock now. Maybe I'll go out for lunch today.
My thought was interrupted when the front door opened and in walked Liam.
