"The Family Project": High School

~ Chapter 6 ~

Michelle POV

* 7:10 a.m., in Isabelle's room *

I hear an alarm, so I rubbed my eyes and opened them to see that I was in Isabelle's room. I remember how I got here as all the events from last night come flooding back to me and I smile remembering the kiss Austin gave me.

"Well why are you smiling" someone asks me. I jump up scared, but get relived when I see Isabelle smirking. "Uh no reason" I says blushing.

"Sure. Austin told me that he brought you here when he left. Did anything happen between you two" she asks. "No" I say turning away. "I know you we've been best friends for ten years now. Tell me what happened" she demands.

"Ugh fine. He kissed me" I whisper. "What" she asked me. "He kissed me" I whisper/yell. "Really. Omg. I can't believe it. What that was your first kiss right" she asks. "Yeah" I say. I think she was going to ask me more but her parents called us for breakfast.

* at my house, a few minutes before going to school*

"Mom I'm home" I say as I walk inside. "I'm in the kitchen, honey" she say. "Hey" I say. "Hi honey, I'm going to miss you so much. Never forget that" she says coming over to hug me.

"It's ok mom. I love you too. But I'll come and visit you with my new family whenever we can" I say as we stop hugging. "Ok. It's just that I can't believe my little girl is going to be a mother" she says tearing up.

"Mom it's just for a project. I'll come back" I say. "But you might decide to-" she says stopping. "What mom. I might decide to what?" I ask confused. "No it's nothing. Forget what I said" she tells me. "Ok" I say still confused.

"So are you going to take you stuff now or do you come later" she asks me. "I don't know they haven't told us. I think that they bring it to us" I tell her.

"Oh ok well I think it's time for you to go. I'm going to miss you so much" she says, crying. "It's ok mom. Don't cry. I will come visit you whenever I can." I says trying not to cry. "Ok honey" she says.

As she says that I feel at tear roll down my face. "Don't cry honey I'll stop to" she tells me. "Ok mom. I'm going to miss you too" I say. I give over to grab my stuff and I see my sister.

"Bye Jasmine I'm going to miss you so much" I say. "So will I" she says coming over and giving me a hug. I say my goodbyes to her and walk over to my mom.

"Well I guess this is goodbye. I'm going to miss you" I say hugging her. "Me too honey" she says kissing my forehead. "Love you" I say. "I love you too honey" she says as I walk outside and close the door.

I wanted to leave faster because I couldn't stand seeing my mom cry. And when she kissed my forehead, or reminded me of when Austin kissed it. Ugh. I have to stop thinking about my mom. I know that sounds mean but if I keep thinking about her I'm going to start crying.

So I start thinking about the kids I'm going to adopt as I walk over to Isabelle's house.

* at school, outside the Adoption Center *

"Are you guys ready to go inside" Harry asks us. "Yeah" we all say. So we all walk hand in hand and go inside the adoption center.

When we get inside Isabelle and Harry walk in one direction and Austin and I go in another direction. "So do you want to get the girl or boy first" Austin asks me. "The girl" I say.

When I say that he leads me in that direction. We see a lot of little girls playing together, so Austin goes over to them. But I see a little girl in the corner drawing so I walk over to her.

"Hi what's your name" I ask her. "Aurora" she says. "Aww what a cute name for a cute girl"I say as she blushes.

"So how old are you" I ask. "I'm this many" she says holding up five fingers. "Oh. Would you like it if me and my 'husband' adopt you" I ask her.

"Really"she asks, as I nod, "I would love that". "Great. Then let's go find your daddy. I grab her hand and we walk over to where Austin is.

"Hey Austin look who I found" I say. "Aww what's your name" he asks her. "My name is Aurora" she says. "Aww such a cute princess. And how old are you" he asks. "I'm five" she says.

"How cute. Do you want a little brother to keep you company" he ask Aurora. "No" she says firmly. "Why you get to boss him around because your older" I tell her. "Ok fine" she says smiling. Austin picks her up and holds her to his hip.

We walk tower to the boy's section and start looking for a little boy. We see a group of little boys playing with cars, so Austin lets Aurora down so she can look for a little brother.

She starts to play with a little boy so we walk over to them. "Hey little guy what's your name" Austin asks him. "I'm Noah" he says waving.

"Well hi. And how old are you" Austin asks him. "I'm thwwe" he says holding up three fingers. "Would you like to come live with us" I ask him. "Yeah sure" he says smiling.

"Hi I'm your big sister Aurora and I'm going to get to boss you around" she says. "Aww no" he says. Austin and I laugh as I pick him up and we walk over to the front desk.

"We would like to adopt these two adorable kids" Austin says. "Ok you guys just have to fill out a few papers and you can go home" she says handing us the papers. "Ok thanks" I says grabbing them so we can fill them out.

We give find some chairs so we can go and fill them out. After ten minutes of filling out paperwork, Harry and Isabelle come over with their daughter, Edeline. They tell us that she's the same age as Aurora.

When they go fill out the papers Edeline and Aurora start to play together. We all finish and get to go to the bus.

The teacher told us that the bus would take us to out new homes.
