Ebony POV

Chapter 11

Staying here with Rashad has been absolutely wonderful. Breakfast in bed, and all the sex I can get without any regrets. I can get used to this. In fact I think I already have.

I have been getting so many text and calls from Quan that it's ridiculous. All the text keep saying how sorry he is for sleeping with my friend, and how he would do anything for me to just take him back.

He asked if we could meet up today and have lunch. I said to myself that it wouldn't hurt if I went to see him and had a nice little meal while I'm there at Mary's Soul Food Restaurant.

So I'm getting dressed and I plan to make his ass have a few regrets. I put on a strapless short red dress and a black jean jacket over the dress. My red pumps finished my outfit.

I put on some gold hoop earrings. I had gone yesterday and got my hair in some Micro's. I put on my eyeliner, smeared a little lip gloss on and was ready to go.

I grabbed my clutch purse and keys and headed outside to my car. As soon as I  reached the front door, that's when I heard Reds outside the door talking to somebody.

I open the door to see him standing there talking to the  neighbor. She wasn't just any ole neighbor. She was one that flirted with every man that entered the building. Married or single.

He can't even lie and say that she ain't say something flirtatious because the smile he had on his face when I opened the door and caught his ass said it all.

Me and Rashad weren't officially a couple so I couldn't get mad at him for flirting. "Hey boo, where you going?" He asked me once he took his eyes off of ole girl.

I answered him simply saying,  "Out." He looked at me and could tell I was irritated. "Ay come here real quick." He said. I turned around and shut the door.

"Did I do something, because you seem a little tense." I lied and told him,"I'm going to meet Quan down at Mary's Soul Food Restaurant and I really don't want to."

The real reason was me seeing him talking to the floozy in the hall. I mean come on we were fucking, and to see that didn't feel too good.

"Oh well, if you don't wanna go, don't go." He proclaimed. "I just need to talk to him about some things and go by the house for a minute and I'll be back."

He grabbed me and kissed me deeply. I felt my knees getting weak when he finally pulled away.

I'm surprised I didn't collapse when he let go. "What was that for." I asked him. "Just a little something for you to think about while your out.

And you may wanna go pass the mall and pick up a dress and maybe get your nails done cause we got plans tonight." I looked at him confused as to why he was just telling me this.

He handed me a stack of money and told me not to spend it all in one spot. I kissed him again. Rashad made my decision a bit easier, and when I meet with Quan, I knew just what I had to do.

I got out the car and walked up to Mary's Soul Food Restaurant. Quan was standing outside of the restaurant. We spoke to each other and continued inside.

I hated to have to do this but I'm sure you know the saying, "Once a cheater always a cheater." Quan wore a blue and white button down short sleeve collar shirt, with some blue Ralph Lauren jeans.

His blue and white NY cap complimented the Jordan's he had on which were also blue and white. The fragrance he had on was breathtaking. We sat in a booth in the back of the restaurant.
