Chapter 9

Reds

"I have already handled the girlfriend, is there anything else you want me to do homie." "Did you do exactly what I said, shit has to be laid out precisely like I said in order for us to get this paper, my nigga." Reds said.
I looked over to the bed at him and saw that he had awakened. "You don't have to worry my friend, she's never gonna figure out who was in her apartment." Donnell yelled. "My nigga right there." I said handing my man five hundred dollar bills for the part of the job he did. "Thanks yo, let me know if there is anything else you need from me, and I'm on it. He said. We gave each other pound. "Aye yo, go up in there and tell one of them bitches to make some breakfast, shit a nigga shouldn't ever be hungry when we have woman around, you feel me?"I said.

Donnell laughed and I let off a smirk."Yo nigga get ya black ass up." I yelled at Semaj. He grunted in response. He couldn't speak because he had tape over his mouth. I was going to put this nigga through hell.
I had reason to believe that this nigga had something to do with my main man Deuce being in the hospital. He was on a breathing machine and it was kind of hard seeing him that way. I went and snatched the tape off his mouth. "Ay man, can you let me up so I can piss?" Semaj said. Donnell came back just as he was asking me the question.  Reds cut the restraints so that he could move.  "You try anything stupid nigga, and that's your ass." Reds scolded him. Semaj got up and was very unstable. He made it into the bathroom relieving himself. When he saw that Reds was the one that had him tied down, all he could do was shake his head. "Hurry your bitch ass up, ain't nobody got time to be waiting on your ass."

Semaj came out immediately after washing his hands. Semaj knew how close Reds was with Deuce , so he was sure this was because of Deuce. "Sit down in this chair right here, and put your hands behind you." Semaj sat down but shook his head. "What you shaking your head for, you did this to your damn self nigga. Reds said while tying the rope around his wrists. "I ain't do shit, I don't know what your talking about man." Semaj screamed. "Man I thought we were better than this yo." "You told me the nigga Deuce was fake and wasn't paying all of the money that was owed to you, what happened to that."Reds looked at semaj with anger. Reds knew that he was being shorthanded by Deuce  and he had told Semaj that in confidence. Him bringing it up now with Donnell around was a bitch move. I guess he had to try his hand to see if he'd be able to get out of this.

After tying his ankles to the chair, I said, "You must be ready to die fool?" He looked up at me with pleading eyes. Deep down inside of me I knew I could never shoot this nigga. The bull he did to my nigga Deuce  though tempted me to do it though. Deuce and I were closer than any of the other fellas in our squad.
And Semaj was just as close to us than any of the rest. The three of us we're like brothers. I bet this nigga didn't even stop to think about that shit. I pulled my gun and cocked it. That thought frustrated me. I aimed it at Semaj and he didn't even flinch. "Ok Mr. tough guy. I said getting a bit closer to him. I put the pistol to his head to see if he'd be as macho now.  "Now we gon play a game called question and answer. I ask the  questions and you answer them, got it." I said. Seeing that Semaj was not even one bit scared of being shot, pissed me the hell off.

I know Deuce was my homie, but Semaj was bold as fuck right now. I moved the gun from his head trying to get an ounce of respect out of him. I let one off in the air. That shit got me nowhere because this fool still didn't move. This had me worried. Was this nigga inhuman or something. Any other person would have shown some type of reaction to the shit I just did. Not Semaj. "Nigga did you shoot Deuce, yes or no." I stood with my pistol aimed directly at his head. It seemed as though he wasn't one bit worried about Deuce when he was shot, hell he hadn't even been to the hospital to see him, and that's another reason I was suspicious. "Why would you even come at me like that dawg, you know just as well as I do that I didn't shoot that man. Shit you can ask anybody that was in the house that day, I was in my room listening to Yo Gotti.”

"That nigga got bars my dude." Semaj laughed. "Nigga I don't care about the shit you talking right now, I'm trying to find out who the fuck shot my friend.""You playing around like the shit a fucking game, like Deuce  ain't never did shit for you. This ain't a game nigga this some real life shit." "Now you either get on board with us and help us find this lowlife , or get your ass beat by all the niggas in the house right now everyday until we feel better. And you know I have hella energy." Semaj put his head in his hands. Feeling conscience  stricken right now, and letting Reds see the guilt written on his face was not a good decision because Reds was good at figuring complicated things out. He had skills and could figure me out shit quicker than an investigator could. "Aight man I'm in. Where do we begin."
