Chapter 2

After the fight with my mom i completely ditched dinner and went to bed.

I turn over and get my phone its still dark out side its 5 in the morning .I jump out of bed sneeking down stairs to the kitchen i know my moms still asleep and i dont feel like dealing with her right now so i go grab some food and stuff my face.

When i look again its almost 6 and my mom should be up soon so thats my cue to go back to my room and wait for her to leave for work before i come out its a good thing that shes going in early this morning.

I hide under my blankets when i hear a knock at the door and thats my cue to pretend im sleeping.

"honey are sleeping?"my mom asks walking in the room. 'No ma im dead' i think to myself sarcastically, of course i would never actually say that.

"i know you not really sleeping but i just want to say im sorry im just concerned thats all" she says and i still ignore her im in no mood to talk to her right now.

"okay honey i understand just know i love you "she says leaning down kissing my head "in off to work ill be home early and then we can talk" she says leaving my room.

Once shes left i jump out of bed and head to the bathroom to shower and get ready for another day of work.

"Hayden dear how you doing ?" Mrs Anderson asks me snapping me out of me thoughts "you dont seem your self your very quite" she tells me.

"no im fine " i say giving her a not so convincing smile.

"well the days almost over "she says placing her hand on my shoulder and i nod as she walks away.

I walk over to my last table of the day and see a couple kissing ......agggg killl me now.

I stand there awkward for a moment before i decide to break them up."uhm......" i say trying to break them up but nothing...

'well this is awkward' i think to myself should i walk away.

"hi ...uhm .."i say hoping it works and it does they pull away "ready to order ?" i say a little annoyed.

The man with blonde hair and brown eyes replies first "yeah we'll have 2 coffee's thats all "he says giving me a slight wink either that or he has a twitch in his right eye.

"i think that tonsil has a eye twitch "i say to mandy as i get the coffee.

she laughs at me before replying "which tonsil?" she carries on laughing.

I point to the guy that is now talking to the girl he was sucking face with about a minute ago. She looks at them than at me before laughing and then she says "thats the local flirt his harmless his always hitting on the waitress ,so it wasnt some funny eye twitch"she says with a little giggle.

"eww....."i say scrunching my face up and mandy burts out laughing.

With that i take the two coffees and put it on the table infront of them."Thanks...uhmm..what did you say your name is ?" the blonde jerk asks and the girl rolls her eyes "dont be rude"she says slapping his arm and with that i walk away.

"Looks like im off"i say too Mrs Anderson and mandy.

"okay sweety get home safe"Mrs Anderson says giving me a hug .I return her hug and wave at mandy.

Just as i walk out the coffee shop i see the strange guy who caused my mom and I to fight but before i could say any thing his pulled me around the corner and pushed against me.

"Where are you going ?" he asks tilting his head...why is he interrogating me who does he think he is ?.

"Hello i asked you a question"he says looking a little annoyed.

"why do you care ?" i spit at him.

"Says the idiot that was stalking me yesterday"he says moving away from me.

"If you must know im going home not that its any of you business " i say pushing past him and continue on my way home.

"you cant go home !" he tells me stopping me dead in my tracks "and why the fuck not ?" i question him.

He stays quite for a moment before replying "Just trust me"i stand there staring at him like his an idiot "i dont even know your name now you want me to trust you ?" i question him with a laugh.

"My names Nathan now that you know my name can you just trust me ?" he asks.

"no now bye"i say walkin away from him.
"where do you wanna go??...you hungry lets get something to eat ??"he asks trailing after me why is he doing this "i want to go home" i continue walking "bad choice princess ...but i warned you" and just like that he stops following me.

I get home and Nathan's words keep replying in my mind.

'dont go home' why didnt he want me going home. I walk up to the door when i realise its unlocked thats weird.

I walk in "Mom are you home?" i say but get no reply. maybe shes sleeping "mom are you awake ?" i say knocking on her door.

I open the door and walk in and nothing shes not there where could she be. She said she would be home early.

I head to the garage to check if her cars there....ITS HERE.

"MOM !" i scream more frantically

"MOM!!! WHERE ARE YOU !" I scream with every thing in me.

I walk in the kitchen too see what i'd never thought i'd want to see i drop to the floor as the tears stream down my face and I put my hands on my moms now dead body with blood covering the floor and now my hands i let out a blood curling scream.

As i sit there with my mom dead on the floor next to me i hear the door open i get up and grab a knife too see the last person i ever wanted to see standing at the door way of the kitchen.

"What the fuck are you doing here ?" i ask him

"Get your stuff your not safe here anymore " he says not a bit of concern in his voice " im not going any where with you ... you knew she was dead how?? " i ask with out a pause "NATHAN YOU TOLD ME NOT TO COME HOME YOU KNEW"i scream at him now mad as hell..

"Hayden please just listen to me they'll be here soon just please get your things and lets go" he say who is he talking about.
