Chapter 4

Bang Bang
the sound of a gun shot hit my ears.

Silence thats all i hear is nathan dead should i run.what If they after me...what will they do to me ??.

All these thoughts comsuming me i feel a single tear run down my face and how things have gone too silent OMG have they kill Nathan his all i had even though i never really knew the guy.

"Hayden open up its me ?" Nathan says from the other side of the door i stand to my feet and run to the door and unlock it.

"I thought you died"i say throwing my arms around him pulling him close ....uhhh this is awkward why am i still hugging him and why hasn't he pushed me away yet.Instead of puching me away i feel his arms around my waist tighten.

"we're not safe here anymore we have to go "he sighs releaseing me from his hold i nod to him and head to get my stuff i dont think ive ever moved so much.

"have you got everthing ?"he ask walking out his room with a huge kitbag grabbing his car keys and his phone heading towards the door as i grab my stuff following him out the door .

"arnt you going to lock the doors?" i ask look back at the dark ,cold flat as i get shiver down my spine looks so creepy now that im actually looking.

"no they know where we are they will be back"he says grabbing my hand pulling me along "you can sleep in the car it going to be along ride " he says putting our stuff in the car.

After about 15 minutes of driving i still cant find it in me too fall asleep after everything thats happened in the past 2 days how could i think i could sleep.

"whos after us?"i ask sitting up.

"i thought you were sleeping"he says"yeah well i cant sleep"i simply state leaning against the window.

"so who's after us and why?" i ask him again hoping i get an answer.

"The leader of the gang was sleeping with my mom and when my dad found out he gave her a choice and she chose my dad " he explains "that doesnt make any sense why would"he cuts me off befor i can finish" do you want to know or not?" he says annoyed i slump down and fold my arms over my chest and nod.

" as i was saying my mom chose my dad and the gang leader wasnt very pleased...he killed my dad thinking that maybe than she'll be with him even though he had a wife he wanted both of them to be his wife and when his wife refused he left her for my mom" he says with anger clear in his voice "my mom started dating him but what she never knew was that he was the one to kill my father " his voice saddens as i listen intensely.

"about 3 month after they were together he came clean to her and he told it as a joke ...but because she didnt know and he was so cruel about it when she left him and moved us away he went back to his ex wife and she and my mom had already spoken and it turns out he is a women beater and a man whore...... so both of them stood together in agreement not to go back he only wanted to go back to his ex wife so his not alone but when she rejected him he beat her up and went after my mom"he says.

"wow thats alot to take in" i say looking at him "okay were here "he says pulling into the most beautiful house ive ever seen.....WOW!!!.

We climb out the car and Nathan heads to the boot to get the bags "i know you want to know the rest of the story and ill tell you when we in bed " he hands me my bag.

"you must be Hayden" a middle aged women says walking out the beautiful house "that would be me " i say with a little smile.

"and nathan still as hansome as ever" she says pulling him and i into a hug.

"Hayden this is my aunt Debbie" he says smiling "nice to meet you "i say.
"Ive heard so much about you" she states ....wait how could she have heard about me? this is so weird.

We head up stairs and Debbie points us too a room uhh...she does know im not his girlfriend...right.

"would you prefer to have your own room?"debbie asks clearly noticing my expression "No..shes sleeping by me" nathan says cutting her off "okay well night you too " she says starting to walk away.

"why do i have to sleep by you?" i ask placing my hands on my hips. he smirks at me "well do you want to know the end of the story?".

I jump into bed next to nathan and get comfortable ready to hear the rest of the story "okay so you were saying" i say hoping that will make him tell me now .

"right....so after his wife rejected him and he beat her up he went after my mom when my mom said no he tried every thing and said he'll wait for her but he was messing around with a whole bunch of women. when one day my mom told him shes moving on " he swollows hard.

"its okay im here "i comfort him.

"he killed her he said if he cant be with her no one can. A long time went by and when his ex wife was about to move on he killed her too"he says .
"but then why would he kill my mom?" i ask still not understanding what this has to do with me and my mom.

"Hayden dont you get it ....... his ex wife was your mom....the gang leader is your father" he says sitting up looking at me.
