"why is he after me ?"i ask in disbelief as Nathan lays back down "i dont know but we will find out " he tells me "now get some rest ".

As the sun beams through curtains i pray that the past 2 days was all one big dream. I strech my arms and when it doesnt come in contact with another body im almost sure it was a dream .As i open my eyes slowly letting them ajust to the light and sit up to find it wasnt a dream i see nathan and my bags on the floor. come to think of it i wonder where he is?.

I hop out of bed and head down stairs "good afternoon sunshine"aunte debbie greats...Wait did she just say afternoon "what time is it ?" i ask in a slight panic as she calmly gestures me to sit on the couch next to her "its 12:30"she says getting up" Nathan told me to give you this and would you like a cup of coffee ?" she hands me a letter "yes please " i reply opening the mysterious letter.

"Are you hungry dear?" auntie debbie asks me placing my coffee infront of me.

"yes please " i reply short and sweet as i fold the Note and leave it on the table to get up and follow auntie Debbie into the kitchen.

After eating i headed up stairs to go take a shower i cant believe my moms dead and my dads a gang leader.

Why is he after me? what does he want ? does he want to kill me as well?..how did i not know my dad was in a gang?... let alone a gang leader.
All these questions with no answers too.

I climb out the shower as i dry my hair with a towel and start to get dressed.

As i walk out of the bathroom i see Nathan laying on the bed playing on his phone.I place my stuff in my bag and plop down on the bed next to him.

"so.."i say hoping that will get his attention "whats the plan?".

"you'll see for now you need to just chill okay" he says getting up from the bed where is he going ?.

"where you going?" i ask standing to my feet he looks at me before replying "im going down stairs"he says walking out the room whats his problem?.

I lay down on the bed i think im going catch up on a little bit of reading oh shit i cant my books at home well my ex home now what am i going to do?.

I take my phone out and put it on charge as it switches on i see that i have 3 missed calls and 2 messages.

I got your number from mandy you dont know me but I'd like to know you.

Whats your name ?

Hey Hayden there's this really nice guy who i think you would love so i gave him your number....hope its okay.

I dont even want to reply how can she just give my number to strange people i mean what if it was my dad then I'd need a new phone okay not really but still.

I really dont want to talk to this guy i dont know him and i dont want to know him.

Hey dude want to come out with us tonight

Do i want to really go with mandy to a club tonight maybe alcohol would be a good idea even though im under age with every thing ive been through i think i need it.

I jump off the bed and head down stairs to Nathan to ask him if he would join me tonight. Half way down the stairs i hear whispering sound like Nathans talking to auntie debbie .

"Nathan i thought you said you ended it with that pycho?" debbie asks in hush tones wait his got a girlfriend he never told me that and just like that the memory of the day i saw him at the mall floods back to me i followed him around and he .....he went into a baby store does he have a kid????.

I feel like such an idiot i walk back up the stairs and back in the room i check my phone ahh its only four o'clock after messaging mandy my address she tells me she will be here at six and to make sure i look nice.

Laying back down on the bed ive got one hour to just chill before i get ready.As i scroll through my contracts my moms name appears i miss her so much wish i got to tell her i love her i press call just to hear her one last time.

The phone starts to ring wait why is it ringing wouldn't her phone go straight to voice mail not ring before i realise the phone has been answered.

"hello " the voice on the other side of the phone speaks.

"who the fuck is this?" i ask now confused and pissed.

Just like that the line goes dead who has my mothers phone??.
