She waited with wide eager eyes
Desperately searching the crowds in a frenzy, hypnotised
By every thought of him
His soul, breath and spirit
To have that which belongs to her
He made a promise he can't deferSuddenly the wild beast that tamed this Fox came by
Amongst a mist of people. The elements combined
Creating a blast of magnificent colours
She alone saw this incredible wonder
Dumb-founded she wept in Ecstasy
As he approached she thought it was a fantasyHe looked so humble, but he was her Archangel
They exchanged pleasantries like 'strangers'
And voiced all the words in their larynx like a plunder
But then she demanded poetry with such a hungerAnd he said: "You remind me of the Bible"
Her face changed like a cloudy day; feeble
He continued: "When Joshua asked that the luminary
Should stand still, until they gained victory. If I should ask God one thing tonight
It'd be to stop this moonlight
And make this night and your beauty
To last till eternity
