Even as he stood gazing in her eyes he couldn't believe it was her .
Laurel , he said again
She took a deep breath all she's ever known when she left early yesterday morning dor court, was that from the time that she was 14 she inly loved Oliver Queen. Now the events that lead her here. To the memories .
Strange how time stops. This gorgeous man in front of her couldn't have walked into her life at a darker time . How could she forget. she'd forgotten everything they've been through , well she hadn't forgotten on her own someone had a little help with that and while she still there almost furious he could take those moments from her she knew he did that out of love. In an instant she was back that 22 year old girl walking around the Streets of London trying to find a reason. Trying to find something that made sense. she was moving in with him when he got, she was sure she was months from glorious engagement. How could he even do that to her, and now he was gone. She couldn't even scream at him, she couldn't even scream at her sister, how could they do that to her. She imagined them finding them and him walking up to her. She would slap him and look her sister i the eye and say your dead to me.....She would fantasize throwing your ring at him. Sara would cry I'm sorry. But she walk away.... But they never came back. They were gone. lost. lost as much as she was without them. Now she made promises if I could just see them one time. I would give anything. I wouldn't be mad anymore. Just please don't let me gone she cried to what felt like a silent God. Everyone said time would make it better but nothing was making it better. Then your mother came up with the idea of sending her to Oxford for a year. She jumped at it, a new beginning. She dyed her perfect brunette hair classic pale blond, traded her contacts for glasses. It would help anyway, her eyes were constantly wet with tears. Tommy had just called to say there was nothing to the rumor Ollie had survived ...something about an email. But it wasn't true. Oliver was still dead and it just started all of the grief again. she would love to go to the tymes river. Just look out at the river Dream of a different world. Somewhere in 2008 there had to be something worth doing. she must have been crying again she heard people walking and moving. But it felt like tome itself had stopped ...... them she heard his voice. In quiet she heard him humming and singing.....

I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing
Roman cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
Once you'd gone there was never
Never an honest word
And that was when I ruled the world
It was a wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in

He stopped. Suddenly he was stand there looking at me. Like no had ever looked at me. Like if he stared look enough he would soul ...my thoughts.

I looked up and saw him with a half-hearted playful look . This man looked into my eyes and then in brogue so deep he said with a cockney grin "I just came from the Titanic and I don't look as bad as you." What an odd thing to say. I looked at him and thought freak . I remebered I put on my glasses and started to turn away. He quick moved around to see my face again and say I am sorry I didn't mean to make light of your pain I had one hell of a day myself. I lost someone I cared about too. I thought grief makes you say and do weird things. I looked into his eyes and said I did too. He simply said you want to go somewhere and have a cup.
