The whole week was pretty uneventful except for the fact that everytime Jungkook gave me a slight nod of aknowledgement, either in the hallway or in art class, made my head went into a frenzy.

He seemed like a boy straight out of a movie, genius, good-looking, mysterious. Which girl wouldn't fall for him?

Since I was in the organizing committee I had to stay back to prepare for the annual cultural event. I was assigned to the main hall by a draw of lots, I cursed internally as that was the place where we'd have the most work to do.

Sejoon was preparing a group song so she was most probably in the music room. Jaebum was in the organizing committee, but as always, he was nowhere to be seen.

There were eight of us assigned to the main hall, me along with a girl from another class were assigned to put up the decorations of the stage. The girl was very swift in her work and by the time I had finished putting the decorations of one side of the stage, she had already done up the other side, as well as adjusted the lighting.

"Uh, I'll be fine, you can go." I said with a smile when I caught her staring at me working sluggishly. She didn't say anything, just gave a curt nod and was off.

I was concentrating really hard on aligning the paper flowers. Successfully securing the last paper flower in its place, I beemed at myself proudly.

Atleast I'm good at something.

But my happiness was short-lived when suddenly someone creeped up on me.

"Ah!" Rather than being suprised on the sudden attack, I was trying my best to balance on the stool which was now on the verge of toppling over.

I was ready to fall, when I noticed I was still on top of the stool. Swiftly turning around, I saw the culprit, Im Jaebum, smiling at me ridiculously, holding the stool firmly.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make you fall. But then even if you did, you'd have a pretty soft landing." He grinned opening his arms wide.

"You wish." I mumbled.

"What?"

"Nothing. But why are you here right now? Aren't you in the committee too?"

"Have you finished yet? Ah, I'm so hungry, lets go eat something!" Totally ignoring my question, he grabbed and hand and led me out.

"Hey-wai-will you slow down! I still need to clean up!" I shouted struggling to keep up with his pace.

"It'll be fine. They always do my share of the work anyway, so might as well do yours. Wahh, I'm so hungry!" He said giving a laugh.

After reaching the foodstalls, the smells and sights of the food made me admit that I was pretty much hungry. After having our fill, we decided on eating ice-cream.

We went inside a small ice-cream shop, the walls were all done up in pretty pink and there were small stools and tables to sit. We went to the counter, to choose our ice-cream.

"Sungmi.." I heard Jaebum say.

I was too engrossed on which flavour to choose that I didn'r realize what was going on.
When I looked up, I saw the girl behind the counter was the same one who I was assigned with in the hall just a while ago. Her name tag did read Sungmi, but the way Jaebum said it, I didn't have a good feeling about it.

Sungmi just stared at us for a while. I could see the heat in her gaze and as I thought she was gonna have an outburst of anger, she surprising gave a wide smile, which seemed like something she did rarely.

"I see you've come with your girlfriend." She turned towards me, "You're new, aren't you? Well let me just say that Jaebum isn't what you think he is. He isn't all that nice when it comes to relationshi- ah well I'll just leave that for you to decide." She said still composing her now turned creepy smile.
