Bacon was sizzling in the pan, toast had just popped out of the toaster and Sam was diligently mixing eggs in a bowl. He couldn't help himself from taking breaks every now and then to glance over at Alice on the couch.
Sam had woken her up early, as usual, and carried her downstairs. Flopping her onto the couch with cartoons and blankets. Her eyes were closed but he knew she was awake, every now and then she'd take a tiny sip from her tea cup. He would hear her faint chuckles when something funny happened on the tv.
Her long Raven-like hair sat on top of her head in a massive bun, random strands falling out here and there.
After all the food was done, Sam took her a plate and sat it on her mound of blankets. He sat opposite of her, a cup of coffee in one hand and the morning paper in the other.
Once in a while he would stop eating to peer over his paper, getting a better look at her.
Analyzing the sparse freckles along her nose and cheeks. Watching her bright green eyes dart around, soaking in Sunday morning cartoons.
He couldn't help but think of how long him and Dean were unhappy. Even relationship he was in ended in misery, but with Alice he saw his future in one glance.
Her freckles made up a constellation of the rest of their lives. Her laugh reminded him of wedding bells and her piercing eyes made him question what he ever did without her.

"What are you staring at?" Alice had finally caught on and was staring back at Sam, sitting up straighter and more alert.
He smiled because it had taken her forty five minutes to notice he was soaking her in, and 2 minutes of silence for her to cross her arms and pout.
"Just you, Ali. My beautiful wife.."

Dean woke up to the sun shining in through the window, dayna in his tight embrace. He had his arms wrapped around her as she snoozed into his defined chest, the soft heartbeat of his made her feel comfort. It was days like this dean loved but yet hated. He loved waking up and seeing the person he loved more than anything with him. He loved how freckles covered her slim face, how her eyebrows were slightly up, her soft snore. He loved the little bits of makeup she missed when washing her face before bed. He loved her messy hair and the soft rising and falling of her chest while she was in a peaceful slumber. He wondered every morning how he had gotten so lucky to have someone this gorgeous, strong, and determined to love him. He loved seeing her wake up, rubbing the sleepy out of her eyes. The good morning kisses. The cuddling for hours, usually not saying a word because they didn't have to. But he hated when they had to move, when they had to leave each other's embrace, to get to work. But this particular morning, there wasn't a case. Dayna had opened her eyes and dean was already awake but had his eyes closed, just feeling relaxed. He noticed the quickness of her breathing and her stretching.
"Good morning, babe." He said to her which immediately made her smile and color rise to her cheeks.
"Morning." She said as she kissed him. He just stared at her for a few moments before saying," do you know how beautiful you are?"
She shrugged in response still not used to hearing it everyday.
"You're so goddamn gorgeous. I love your freckles and your perfect teeth..and I love everything about you. I just hope you see what I see every damn day you look in the mirror."
"I love you dean."
"I love you too, D.." He reached out to touch her face, then to trace patterns on her back.
"I'm so goddamn lucky."
"I'm the lucky one, dean." She said softly.
"No, You make life worth living. The crappy jobs, food, the world ending almost every year, all of it. All of it is worth it if I get to lay down with you each night and wake up to you each morning."
Dayna smiled to herself and let out a small chuckled. "I'm glad to have had such an impact on you, Mr. Winchester." Dean kissed her softly and stood up, pulling her slightly by the wrist, "Come on, I think Sam made breakfast."

The couple made their way down the steps together, mumbling about when Lamia would show up again, but stopped once they were in the living room. Dayna kissed her sister on the top of the head and ushered Dean to sit down, she liked making his plate.
Once she had disappeared into the kitchen, Sam sat up and looked to Dean.
"We need to talk to Cas."
"About what?" Dean asked, taking a sip of his brothers coffee.
"About how we can't contact lamia? And the fact she hasn't made an appearance in weeks."
"And" Alice interrupted, "ever since we took down that warehouse of angels and demons, there hasn't been any attacks.."
Dean sat and stared at the ground, scratching at his stubble. "I don't know I mean maybe this is good, maybe-" he was interrupted by a crash in the kitchen and jumped up as fast as he could.
Dayna was crouched on the floor, picking up a broken plate and food. Cas stood by the stove.
"I uh, I think I scared her.." He struggled to get the words out but lightened up when Sam and Alice entered. Alice rushed over to help Dayna finish cleaning.
"Cas what the hell are you doing here?" Dean asked, glancing over at Dayna to assure she was okay.
"I'm worried."
"About what, Cas?" Sam asked in a sincere tone.
"Lamia. She hasn't been spotted in two weeks.." He trailed off, staring at Dayna. Their eyes met as she turned and stood up, brushing off her pajama shorts.
"You okay Cas?" She asked worryingly.
"I"
"Is this because you saw her naked?" Dean interrupted and Alice dropped the pieces of broken plate in her hand. "Wait what?"
Cas sighed and walked into the living room, "that's a discussion for another time."
