Thalia's point of view (didn't see that coming did you?)

It was the morning of the Winter solstice. For some reason Lady Artemis had wanted us to stay at camp half-blood for a few days, she had also wanted me to go to the meeting along with Chiron and the camp counselors. Everyone was worried about Percy, he had vanished from camp after he had left the campfire the day that Annabeth had broken up with him. The only people who weren't worried were Annabeth and her new boyfriend Stephen.

Pretty much the entire camp now hated Annabeth because of what she had done to Percy. Chiron had contacted Sally wondering if Percy had gone home. She had told him that Percy was staying with her, but at the time she had said that Percy couldn't talk to him because he was out.

I think that we all had suspected that she had been lying, even though sally didn't normally lie.  We all hoped that we would find out what had happened to Percy at the winter solstice meeting. Chiron had contacted the gods asking what they knew about Percy, but they had dodged his questions, so he had given up. We all suspected that they knew exactly where Percy was, but for whatever reason they refused to tell us.

Now not only was Percy missing but two of the pegasi were missing as well. Blackjack, Percy's Pegasus, and another Pegasus called Porkpie were missing. Butch had noticed their empty stalls when he had gone into the stables late yesterday afternoon.

I practiced my archery until it was time to leave, and then we all packed into the camp vans, and drove to The Empire State Building.   We got the key cards and the first group of us crammed into the elevator. After we reached Olympus we waited for the second group which included Chiron in his wheelchair. Once they joined us we started toward the throne room of the gods.

As we walked In I looked around, Annabeth's renovations looked great, but that wasn't what drew our attention. What really surprised us was a new throne beside Hades'. It was gold with a wave like pattern on the legs, a Pegasus and a Phoenix on the armrests, and a hourglass on the back, it also had something that looked like it could be a holder for a god's symbol of power. The throne looked amazing like it might have been made by Athena and Hephaestus themselves.

I'm pretty sure we were all staring at it. I was confused about why there would be a new throne, no one had been made a god in years, the last person who the gods had offered immortality to was Percy, and he had refused. It had been five years since the giant war, and all the rewards for that had been given out. I looked over at Chiron to see if he had an explanation. I'm pretty sure that he had a guess about why the throne was there, but he was reluctant to believe it. Finally I turned my attention to the gods, waiting for an explanation.  I noticed that Poseidon was glaring at Annabeth, and even Athena looked disappointed by Annabeth's actions.

My dad spoke he said, "I imagine you are all wondering about the new throne."

I thought to myself, obviously dad we were all staring at it.  He spoke again he said, "The reason for the new throne is because we have a new Olympian. The new Olympian is the god of Time, tides, waves, swordsmanship, loyalty and Heroes..."

my fathers words were cut off when the new god appeared sitting on his throne.

I glanced over at Chiron; he didn't seem quite as shocked as everyone else so I assumed that that must have been what he had suspected right from the beginning, I guess after having lived for thousands of years there wasn't much that would surprise him. The new god lounged casually on his throne as if he didn't have a care in the world. we were trying to figure out who he was, or at least who he was before he became a god. the fact that he was twelve feet tall made it harder to tell though. suddenly he stood and shrunk down to the size of a normal man. Now that he wasn't twelve feet tall I was able to get a better look at him.

He had messy black hair, gold eyes that if I wasn't mistaken contained flecks of sea green, he was muscular, but not so much so that it looked unnatural, and the fact that he was glaring at Annabeth, made me think that it was Percy standing in front of us. before I could say anything he said, "Well Annabeth, you think you're so smart, I would have thought you would have guessed who I am by now."

His voice although it did sound somewhat different from what I was used to was enough to confirm my suspicions. still kind of shocked I said, "P-Percy?"

he responded saying, "Yep pine cone face it's me."

at those words Annabeth promptly fainted causing several gods and demigods to laugh. That group included Percy, Poseidon, Apollo, Hermes, The Stolls, Leo, and several others.

I noticed Percy wasn't wearing his camp necklace either. Well I thought sally had said that he didn't plan on returning to camp. Still chuckling Percy returned to his throne, unfortunately Annabeth didn't stay down long, yes I just said unfortunately her recent actions have disappointed me, and basically everyone else who was friends with her. everyone at camp shuns her now, and I suspect that her new boyfriend will probably leave her soon, I have heard that he has been eyeing one of the Aphrodite girls.

Leaving Percy must have been the stupidest decision Annabeth has ever made, she left the best guy on the planet for a guy that isn't half as good who will probably leave her. strangely enough Percy didn't seem too upset over Annabeth leaving him, maybe he's just been busy and hasn't been able to dwell on it, If that's the case he's better off that way.
