Percy's point of view

The day after my date with Amber there was a council meeting in the morning. It was the same as any other, well almost. Zeus and Hera were arguing, my dad and Athena were arguing, Hades and Demeter were arguing, Apollo and Artemis were arguing, Hermes was playing a game on his phone, Hephaestus was working on some project, Dionysus was asleep, Aphrodite was eying me like a prize she wanted to win, Ares and I were glaring at each other, while Piper and Hestia sat quietly not saying a word.

When the meeting had finally came to an end I was about to leave when two of the most annoying gods had walked over to me. Apollo said, "hey cuz how'd it go"

I scowled, although I was pretty sure that I already knew the answer I said, "What are you talking about Apollo?"

he answered, "I think you know, were you not with your girlfriend yesterday?"

I had to think about how to get out of this, everything I thought of to say would give away the fact that I was with her. Leaving without answering would also give it away. I was out of options. Finally I just said, "so what if I was, and why do you even care?"

He answered "I'm curious how my favourite cousin is doing with the ladies; you can hang with us anytime you want."

Hermes nodded in agreement.  I said, "Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll pass for now."

He nodded not bothering to argue. He said, "I hear that the daughter of Athena is trying to get you to take her back."

I sighed exasperated I answered, "yes, I can't believe that she's a daughter of Athena, she is so slow, she just won't get it through her head that we are over."

I talked to Apollo and Hermes for a bit longer, I tried to convince them to stay out of my love life but I'm not sure if it worked. After that I paid a quick visit to camp Jupiter where I found Frank and Reyna training. They are both good fighters. They were so involved in their fight that they hadn't yet realized that I was there. I watched the pair fight. I had never really been able to watch Reyna in action. Every time she was fighting I was as well.

At one point instead of blocking Frank's sword with her dagger she practiced one of her powers from me. The expression on Frank's face when time slowed around him making it harder for him to move was priceless. I busted out laughing alerting the pair to my presence. My interruption caused Reyna to lose her concentration freeing Frank.

I got myself under control which didn't take that long since I was in my Roman form. I still couldn't help but look at Frank with slight amusement and say, "You should have seen your face."

Frank frowned but didn't comment. He looked at Reyna and asked, "How did you do that?"

Answering for her I said, "the day I was revealed I gave her my blessing, so now she has some of my powers, the reason why you suddenly couldn't move as fast was because she slowed time."

I was a bit confused about why Frank hadn't known about Reyna's new abilities. He was there the day I blessed her and if he hadn't realized what had happened then I would have thought that Reyna would have told him by now. Reyna answered my unspoken questions when she said "I thought that you had figured It out yourself, otherwise I would have told you."

Frank nodded I left the two praetors to continue practicing, or to do whatever they needed to do.

I walked through the camp any time I encountered a camper they would bow and greet me. After walking so far I glanced over at temple hill where I knew that there was now a temple for me. There were a lot more temples here than when I had gone here as a demigod. So Jason was definitely serious about making sure all the gods had temples.

After this I paid a visit to camp half-blood I purposefully went looking for Nico, I wanted to tease him a bit over the fact that Christina had been able to disarm him. When I finally tracked him down he said, "Percy,"

I said, "Hey Nico,"  I continued, "I heard that Christina managed to disarm you in her first sword class," he looked a bit embarrassed but not that much.

He nodded and said, "You must have given her your abilities with a sword because she held me off and then disarmed me with an unbalanced sword."

I couldn't help but smile. I said, "She would have been a good fighter anyway even if I hadn't adopted her."

I could tell that Nico was trying to figure out who Christina's birth father was. before long his eyes widened a bit when he figured it out. He said, "Ares?"

I just nodded and then I said, "Yeah her father was Ares, since he was ignoring her I thought that she deserved to have someone who actually cared about her. Her mother was murdered so she basically had no-one. I may hate Ares but unlike some of the other gods I'm not going to take that out on his kids,"

Nico nodded he said, "You're a great guy Percy."

We talked for a bit longer and then I left to find some of my other friends. Annabeth made one last ditch attempt to convince me to take her back which obviously failed. The rest of my day was uneventful.

Annabeth's point of view

After Percy rejected me yet again I decided I couldn't stay at camp. He comes quite often and I won't be able to stay there when he is there, besides most of the camp hates me. I packed some of my things and left the camp without leaving a note. Maybe at some point I will run into the Hunters of Artemis and join them if Artemis will let me. for once I don't really have a plan.
