Christina's point of view

After I figured out who the man was I bowed to both him and the woman since I assumed that she was his wife. I wasn't sure what Poseidon would expect from me or why he was here. I had only ever met two other gods, Percy and Dionysus. Percy hated formalities and insisted that I call him Percy and forget the whole lord thing. Although now I suppose he wouldn't mind if I called him Dad. On the other hand, Dionysus seemed to hate demigods and insisted on all the formalities.

So I really don't know what to expect from Poseidon. To be safe I used the formalities, I looked at him and said, "Lord Poseidon what brings you here?"

I wasn't sure if I had said the right thing or how he would react but he was still smiling at me so that was a good sign. He said, "There's no need for such formalities, we just came to meet our granddaughter"

His wife nodded in agreement. It took me a moment to realize that they meant me. I said, "but technically..."

before I could finish Poseidon interrupted me saying, "Forget the technicalities; Percy adopted you that's good enough for us."

Once again Sally nodded in agreement. I spoke to them for a little while; my earlier nerves soon vanished once I realized that both the sea god and his wife were kind people and I sensed that they would probably end up being like family to me even if I didn't see them that often. After they left I went back to my cabin and succeeded in falling back to sleep.

Percy's point of view

Yesterday after my fight with Ares Apollo took him to the infirmary until he woke up; after he finished with Ares I had my next lesson with him. After that, I went back to my palace. One thing that has taken a lot of getting used to is the fact that the only time all of a god's consciousness is in the same place is when we are in our true form. Dionysus had mentioned this once, but I had never really thought about it much until I had to get used to it myself.

For instance, wherever there are mortals practicing swordsmanship, my presence is invoked. It's a bit weird at first and can be distracting but I am getting used to it. It also means that we can be in multiple places at once. I guess that's how gods can fulfill their duties, and still manage to have so many affairs with mortals. I will probably end up taking advantage of this today in fact since I still have to fulfill my duties and do anything else that comes up but I also plan on spending most of, if not the entire day with Amber.

I had contacted her the other day and told her to try and get today off from work, She had since she is one of those workers that doesn't take many sick days or holidays. Apparently, her boss had been a bit curious about why she wanted the day off but she had managed to avoid telling her. The day I met Amber we just seemed to hit it off, I had tried to avoid falling for her but that had been impossible. It was like I was drawn to her like a piece of metal to a magnet.

The more we saw each other the closer we got. It seems that at the moment she is all I can think about. As I was getting ready for the day ahead I was lost in thoughts about Amber when I heard someone coming up the stairs, I snapped my fingers and the clothes I had laid out for today were on and my hair combed itself. After I was ready I walked out to meet whoever had come in.

As I walked out I found Apollo standing at the top of the stairs. This was a bit surprising since he doesn't usually come to my palace, for my lessons I go to his palace. He said, "Hey cuz, I just came to tell you that I'm calling off your lesson for today. You have been doing well so far so I figured I would give you a day off."

I wasn't expecting that, I mean according to the other gods I was doing well, my dad had mentioned that I was adjusting faster than Dionysus had. But I couldn't help but be a bit suspicious; did Apollo somehow know what I was planning for today? I think that he and Hermes had learned their lesson the last time they had interrupted my date. So I think the worst I should expect from them is questions the next time I see them. Although I would rather they mind their own business instead of being so nosy about mine.

I thanked Apollo and then he left. After he was gone I went to go get Amber, I also sent another part of myself, okay I know that sounds weird but it's kind of the truth. Anyway, I went to see Tyson to talk to him about getting a proper sword made for Christina.

Amber's point of view (you were just waiting for that weren't you)

When I had first met Percy he just seemed to be the right guy for me, he was kind, caring, loyal and handsome. Not long after we met, I got the feeling that we were both falling for each other. I couldn't help but wonder how a guy that looked that good could fall for someone like me.

I'm certainly no one special. While I was in school everyone except for my friends thought of me as a nerd and on some occasions I was bullied. In college, I spent a lot of my time studying and didn't go to that many social events. When Percy told me that he loves me I was really happy to know that he felt the same way I did, but I was completely shocked when he revealed his true identity. The Greek gods are real, and my boyfriend is one of them. That is a lot to take in.

I had to believe him when he turned himself into a Pegasus right in front of me, and I got further confirmation when Apollo and Hermes appeared just as Percy and I were about to leave. During that encounter, I remained silent and let Percy deal with them. I mean I just learned that they are real and then they interrupt us. Anyway the more we saw each other the more I grew to love him. at this point, I think that I would do almost anything he asked me too. This is happening so fast, and I am so new to being in a relationship I'm not sure what to do.

The other day when I talked to him Percy said he was planning a surprise for today and told me to try and get the day off work. I had been able to get it off since I don't take many sick days or holidays, but my boss had been a bit curious about why I wanted the day off. in the end, I had managed to avoid telling her. Now I am preparing as best I can for whatever Percy has planned. I honestly have no Idea what we will be doing so I have no idea what to wear.

I am not one of those girls that are obsessed with clothes so I pick things I like I don't really bother following trends or anything.so in the end I picked one of my more casual dresses and tights. For jewelry, I wore the earrings that Percy gave me, the watch that I always wear and one of my favourite necklaces. For shoes, I wore a pair of flats. Suddenly I heard a knock on the apartment door.

At first, I thought that was odd because I didn't get many visitors and usually if someone is coming over I know about it in advance. But then it dawned on me who it must be. I quickly walked over and opened the door to see just the man or god that I had expected to see. Percy walked in and smiled at me. I walked over to the closet to grab my coat but Percy said, "I don't think you'll need that where we are going."

I looked at him in confusion what is he talking about its January why wouldn't I need it?

When I looked at him in confusion he sighed and said, "Trust me you won't need it."

In the end, I put it away and walked over to Percy even though I was still really confused about why I wouldn't need it. When I was close enough to Percy even though I never really thought about doing it my hand found its way into his. We walked out of the apartment and I locked the door behind us.

When we were in the hallway I once again looked at Percy in confusion. He asked me a question that confused me even further.  He asked, "Amber do you trust me?"

Rather confused about why he would ask that I said, "of course I do." the words were barely out of my mouth and we were no longer in the apartment building.
