At the sight of Marinette sprinting back towards the park, Chat cursed under his breath and made a run for it as well. He jumped across the rooftops, seeing as that was a faster path, and leaped into the park, falling through the canopy of tree leaves. He released his transformation quickly, slumping to the ground and trying to act hurt. In reality, he was as right as rain. He was perfectly fine.

"Ugh, I'm fine," Adrien faked, groaning in 'pain'. Marinette pursed her lips, lightly touching his stomach, blush flaming in her cheeks. Adrien was internally squealing at her touch, his skin on fire. Adrien noticed it was only the two of them at the park. Hmph, he thought. Convenient.

"Is there anything I can do for you, Adrien?" she asked, her voice as sweet as sugar, and Adrien had an idea. Groaning, he picked himself up, and then pulled his lips into a smile. He took her hand, her petite, porcelain hand, and kissed it ever so slightly, his lips brushing against her heated hand.

"A-Adrien?!" she asked, bluebell eyes wide. The blonde smiled, a sly grin on his face. His grip on her porcelain hand tightened just a bit, his fingers as smooth as cotton. Marinette glanced down at their entwined hands, bewildered, until Adrien spoke.

"Go on a date with me," he said, his white teeth flashing charmingly at her. Marinette blew out a soft breath, not even comprehending the situation.

"W-What?"

"I wanted to know if you'd go on a date with me," Adrien repeated, his shit-eating grin growing just a bit wider. He sincerely hoped that she would accept it- and him. He really liked her, and... No, he loved her. He wanted to spend all of his time with her. Marinette, on the other hand, was about to faint, the only thing keeping her grounded on Earth his soft emerald gaze, as well as his hand that was still holding onto her.

"Lyreal? I mean, really? You want to go on a date me with- I mean, with me?" Marinette sputtered, pulling back just the tiniest bit. Adrien nodded calmly, while on the inside he was praying and hoping and pleading that she would just say yes-

"Of course I'd go on a date you with- I mean with you!" Marinette exclaimed happily, helping herself to her feet. Adrien followed suit, dusting himself off after releasing her hand. The bluenette fiddled with her fingers hesitantly, scared to say anything that would offend the gorgeous blond in front of her.

The blonde that wanted to go on a date with her!

"So... I'll pick you up at seven?" Adrien asked, scratching the back of his neck. Marinette nodded enthusiastically, almost squealing from happiness. Giving her a small smile, Adrien winked at her and started to walk away, his eyes glimmering with happiness. Suddenly, as he was walking away, he felt a hand tug at the back of his shirt, and he was yanked back.

He turned around, clearly startled, to a nervous-looking Marinette, squirming uncomfortably, a slip of paper in her hand. "I..." she started, daring to glance at his emerald eyes. She sucked in a quick breath, her face beet red, and pushed herself forward, placing a chaste kiss on his left cheek. As she did this, she tucked the slip of paper into the pocket of Adrien's shirt (where Plagg was napping).

She then pulled away, her face the shade of flaming lobsters, and ran away, shouting "See you tonight!" Adrien just stared at her memory, his smooth fingers brushing against his cheek, his mouth parted in shock. She kissed him. On the cheek, yeah, but she kissed him willingly.

"Kid!" Plagg interrupted, flying out of Adrien's pocket. His tiny face electric-green eyes were squinted in anger, and Plagg was waving the slip of paper in the poor blonde's face. "Hey, kid! My napping was interrupted! And I need some Camembert!" Adrien waved him away absentmindedly, thinking of the blue-haired beauty to which he was going out on a date with tonight.

"Oh no, Plagg!" Adrien complained, breaking out of his trance. "I forgot to ask Princess for her number!" Plagg deadpanned, sighing heavily. Master Fu just had to give me to the dumb one, he thought repressively.  The cat kwami then shoved the paper in Adrien's face, groaning in exasperation.

Shooing Plagg out of the way, Adrien snatched the paper and read it's contents.

000 - 000 - 0000 (This phone number is fake JUST DEAL WITH IT OKAY P.S. DO NOT CALL IT)

Call me ;)

                                                                -- Marinette D.C.

Adrien felt woozy, butterflies having a disco party in his stomach. (Lol maybe they were panicking! Haha references) "She... She gave me her phone number..." Adrien chimed, a sleepy grin on his face. Plagg pretended to puke, practically seeing the hearts float around his holder's head.

"Go home, you idiot!" Plagg hissed, smacking his tiny paw across Adrien's gorgeous face. Adrien nodded, still stunned, and stumbled home, a pissed cat in tow.
