It was 10:00 in the morning, and Adrien was nervous as hell. He was currently fiddling with his bow tie, clutching the bouquet in his shaking hands. He combed his hair again, making sure it looked nice and controlled, unlike his Chat hair. Smiling in the mirror, checking his teeth. Brushing non-existent dust off of his shirt. He was a nervous wreck.

But no matter how nervous he was, Adrien was fairly excited too.

After his visit as Chat Noir to Marinette, receiving  conformation that Marinette did, in fact, like him, Adrien couldn't stop smiling. She liked him! Okay, maybe not as much as he liked her. But still, she liked him a fair amount!

So with his positive feelings, and the conformation  of "liking" someone, Adrien set out to ask Marinette out on a date. Possibly even a second one. Or a third. Or a fourth. Or maybe a fifth. Who knows, maybe they might become serious. AND THEN THEY'LL HAVE TWO KIDS, BUY A HOUSE, GET MARRIED, AND-

Adrien shook his head. What the shnizzballs was he just thinking? That... kinda made his mind feel weird. He needs to chill. Like, seriously chill. Marinette hadn't even gone on a date with him yet! She did not belong to him.

Not yet, Adrien thought hopefully.

Suddenly his phoned dinged, and Adrien slid it out of his back jean pocket. Looking at the message, he shrieked. He was late for a photoshoot in the park! He threw the bouquet of roses behind his shoulder and scrambled out the door, begging mercy.

Another ding from his phone, and while running down the apartment complex stairs, Adrien read that it was a collab with a female model, for his dad's new "casual chic" line. Tucking his phone back in his pocket and brushing golden hair out of his face, Adrien burst through the front doors of the apartments and raced down the street, hurrying to his photoshoot.

-*-

Marinette locked her phone, tucking it into her purse. She had just received message from Christof that she was to do a photoshoot in the park. After receiving another text, she groaned. She was doing a collab. Collabs when modeling were so... awkward. One time, a boy (a very handsome one at that, with silky brown hair and obsidian eyes) named Pierre was doing a collab with her, and the theme of the shoot was supposed to be... Valentine's Day. Oh boy, was that weird.

*Flashback*

The photographer paused, stroking his chin thoughtfully. This Valentine's Day shoot needed more spice, more flair, more... romance. Unfortunately for Marinette, this meant that Pierre, who had mentioned a coffee date earlier before the shoot, was going to do very romantic scenes with her.

One such scene was Marinette sitting innocently on Pierre's lap, while she looked up at him and he cupped her rosy cheeks, his eyes betraying his thoughts. She knew that look. Before Chat announced he had a girlfriend, he would get that look when they were dangerously close. Oh yes, she knew that look very well. She knew what that look meant.

It meant that Pierre desperately wanted to kiss her.

The photographer, surveying the whole scene, contemplating the lighting, rationalizing the positions of the models, picturing the scene in magazines. Feeling pleased, the photographer kissed his lips with his fingers and released the kiss in the air, signaling everything was perfect.

Aaaaaannd Marinette was ready to slap Pierre with the way he held her. One hand cupped her cheek while the other was settled on her waist, which Marinette didn't like. In fact, she had modeled with Pierre before and he had always made her uncomfortable. He was handsome and nice enough, but he was just too... touchy. He tried to get close too fast.
