Kōri's breath was uneven. Who knew fighting immortal people was so tiring?
He glanced far west, to his queen fighting the former queen. Kōri gulped. Never before he had seen two Fuyuhanas fighting each other.
The scene was intense.
The soft-hearted Nami was long gone and replaced by a cold looking princess. The princess lashed out every jutsu she had, trying to paralyze the dead queen.
They dashed and hit each other with strong hits, it was scary.
"Kōri!! Focus will you???" Kakashi jumped as he dodged an attack from Pakura. He didn't notice a swordsman behind him. As he turned around to meet his death, Kōri's sword managed to greet the swordsman first. "Sorry." He mumbled softly.
"She's going to be fine." Kakashi dodged another attack, trying to trap one of the swordsman in the process. "Nami's a born fighter. She wouldn't get hurt easily." But the uncertainty in Kakashi's eyes made the young man doubt his statement.
Back to the fight, both the princess and the queen were panting. They sent deathly glances to each other as they prepared their next attack.
"You know what?" Natsu ran towards Nami. "You should just die like your pathetic father."
"At least I don't call my own family pathetic." Nami dodged the attack as she summoned a jutsu. "Ice Style; Demonic Ice Walls!" The ice princess slammed her hands on the ground, causing thousands of icicles to appear from the earth and aiming towards the dead queen.
Natsu dodged each of the attacks, her anger increasing by every dodge. "Why can't you be weak and just die already?!!???" Natsu practically screamed, her breath hitched for a second when an icicle had cut through her left arm.
"Why do you hate me and my family so much?" Nami still kept her defences up. "What is it that dad had done for you to hate him even in the afterlife?"
"Why do I hate Haru?" She scoffed. "He was a legend, a prodigy. Everyone knew the Snow Islands would rise once he became king. But then he just had to leave because he loathed our cousins." Natsu attacked Nami from behind, her sword managed to cut through the younger's hair.
Nami's hair flew across the windy sky like feathers floating on water. The princess held her hair. Her ponytail was gone. She had no time to mourn however as the dead queen continued lashing towards her.
"And with Haru gone, imagine yourself, who had never been exposed to managing the kingdom or known a single protocol, had to suddenly take the throne? Can you imagine, Fuyuhana Nami?"
Nami defended herself, observing her opponent carefully. Something was... off. The princess continued to dodge as she tried to detect the flaw in her aunt.
"You're hiding something else." She softly muttered. "Aren't you?" Apparently, her question had done it. Natsu went numb, before her sapphire eyes burned with more rage and anger.
Natsu attacked like a wild animal. The princess could only block or avoid her attacks. She sensed her chakra was getting dangerously low, she wouldn't last any longer.
Nami flipped to her right, hands equipping her kunais as she avoided another attack.
Natsu clasped her hands together and summoned what would be the worst storm in shinobi history. A perfect distraction, if Nami was someone who is very slow.
The two continued to fight in the snow blizzard, though it seems the young princess was having an upper advantage.
"You don't understand the feeling when you lost someone because of this stupid title!!" Natsu slashed at Nami with one of her strongest attack. "One day, you will lose everything, and I mean everything you have come to love and care."
"You're just trying to distract me." Nami kicked the queen's face, thus ending the blizzard and sending her to the edge of a cliff.
"Maybe, but that's why I hate Haru. He took everything away from me." She stood up once more. "And I'll hate you too, fullstop."
"Everything?" Nami tried to digest what Natsu had said, only to be attacked again. Natsu let out a hysterical laugh.
"Imagine the love of your life being killed, princess!!!"
The pain of her attacks pricked into Nami's body. She couldn't register anything else, only the agony and thoughts of Kakashi in her mind.
"I'm sorry Kakashi." She whimpered, only to be cut off when she felt a sharp object stabbing her chest.

Kōri crouched down as Pakura was finally sealed. He panted endlessly while holding his bloody sword. A sudden hand touched his shoulder and he was prepared to attack once again when he noticed it was just Kakashi.
"I told you, you're more needed here." He gave his signature eyesmile, which Kōri returned with a small nod. 'I wonder how the queen's doing,' He thought to himself.
It was at that point a heavy snow blizzard suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Kōri stood in front of Kakashi as he defended both of them from being blown away with his sword.
Kakashi's eyes widened. The sword caused the wind to diverge away from them. 'The people of Snow Islands really have unique gifts.' He murmured in amazement. Kōri kept his stance even with his weak strength.
The blizzard died down. Both men looked around to find the source of the blizzard. Kakashi turned to his left, and immediately his face turned white.
Kōri turned to his right when he noticed Kakashi numb. His jaws dropped.
There Nami was, her body seemed lifeless as the dead queen held her by her suddenly shorter hair. With no mercy expressed on her face, Natsu threw the princess off the cliff as she fell into the cold sea.
While Kōri was speechless, he could perfectly hear the inhuman scream from the silver haired beside him.
"Nami!!!!!!!!"
