Chapter 18 Hello rumours

The next day came by fast. Their routine was normal as always, they both woke up, showered , ate some breakfast and headed to school. But, this time, it was different. Sasuke insisted that he would hold Naruto's hand all the way to school, and yes, he also refused to let go of his hand . So they ended up entering school holding hands, and obviously, they soon became the centre of attention, especially for the gossips. Some said that it was because of their 'brotherly like' relationship, others insisted that Naruto actually forced him to hold hands , and well. . . others faced the truth, they said that they were gay.
And boy didn't Naruto receive glares, though, they actually did have some "shippers" who apparently freaked out when they saw the two holdiny hands.
"Fucking girls" Sasuke whispered as all eyes were on the both of them. Sasuke and Naruto stopped in front of their lockers, since somehow they managed to pick the ones next to each other. Soon, Sasuke let go of Naruto's grip, he opened up his locker and to his surprise, a paper flew on the ground. He looked at the fallen paper and groaned. 'Just another love letter . . .'
Yes, Sasuke recieved love letters from girls claiming that their love towards him was 'magical'.
And yes, Sasuke felt pretty much uncomfortable opening them up, especially when someone would dare send him one of their 'bras', and yes, they did.
"Are u gonna pick it up?" Naruto said as he shoved random books in his bags. He eyed the paper suspiciously on the floor, a hint of jealousy in his eyes.
Sasuke bent down, he picked up the paper opening it up carefully.
"Dear Sasuke,
Itachi told me to send you this as today he isn't coming in for school. He said 'I'll come at Naruto's apartment at around 5, be there if you want your clothes and your snakes vivarium, be safe, see you later'

"It's from Itachi?" Naruto raised his eyebrows at why Itachi wouldn't tell Sasuke himself. He also felt relieved since it wasnt from some horny girl, craving his boyfriend's dick.
"Yea, he's not coming to school today" sasuke folded up the paper placing it roughly in his back. 'I'll go talk to Deidara later, he probably knows what's up with Itachi'.
Sasuke slammed his locker shut, he didnt even notice the loud noise it did, he was way caught up in his mind worrying about Itachi. Something wasn't right, he could feel it deep down in his guts. "Sasuke. . ." Naruto whispered worriedly. He placed his hand on his shoulder, slowly massaging it. "Is everything okay?" Sasuke inhaled deeply, he looked at Natuto and smiled. He didnt want to worry Naruto, after all, he's done enough trouble to him and his family.
"Yes, everything is perfectly fine, let's go find the others" Naruto nodded, he closed his locker and once again, Sasuke held his hand.
They made their outside, soon spotting their group under a tree. They approached, soon, the were greeted with multiple eyes on them. "Good morni-" Naruto started, to which, he was cut in half by Kiba. "The rumours are true!" Naruto set down, next to Hinata and Sasuke. "What rumours?" Naruto asked as if he didnt have a clue about what everyone was talking about. "You two, together" said Shikamaru as bored as ever. "Well. . . yea, I suppose they are" Naruto replied, his cheeks deeply turned red. "Well, that was no surprise, you two have rainbows shining above you" Choji said. "That's not true! Sasuke isn't gay! Sakura, why aren't you complaining?" Sakura slowly munched on her cereal bar as she stared blankly at a raging Ino.
"Sasuke, why aren't you denying the rumors?"
The whole group was pretty much annoyed at Ino's rude behaviour. Especially Naruto, he was dying to summon a hot, gay angel wearing a trench coat so he could burn her eyes out. But there were people around, and he couldn't just do that, besides, it was impossible. "I'm not denying it, because it's true. I love cock, accept it" Ino looked at Sasuke, tears swelling up in her eyez. She felt humiliated, so she decided to storm off leaving Sakura to chase her around.
Naruto sighed an soon continued to chat with the others til the bell rung.
Everyone left for their classes.
Sasuke soon became even more worried an confused, the whole group of Itachi, 'akatsuki' kept looking at him as he passed down the corridor for his next class.
Soon, he was headed for his sixth class when ge decided to stop and question Deidara. He stood behind a corner, he waited until the corridor was clear and the 'akatsuki' all left for their class. Soon Deidara walked in the opposite diretion of Sasuke. He moved from the corner, sneakily walked behind Deidara and shoved him in a random room, which apparently was used by the janitors. "What the fuck are you doing Sasuke?"
"Don't yell" he whispered. Deidara was confused as to why Sasuke fucking Uchiha would shove him in a Janitors room while he was on his way to his class. And as far as he knew, Sasuke was dating Naruto.
"What do you want?" Deidara asked. "What's wrong with my brother?" Deidara raised his eyebrows. "I don't know? What's wrong with him?" Sasuke huffed. "Dont act like you dont know. Something is wrong, now we can do this the easy way, or the hard way" and what Sasuke meant, by easy way, hard way was that deidara would either tell him the truth and let him go, or else, keep Deidara in the room till he states the truth. "I'm missing my lesson because of you"
"If you won't tell me, you'll miss the whole fucking lesson"
Deidara was getting pissed at his attitude. He thought whether he should tell him or not.
"He had a fight, with your father. He's staying at Shisui's place for a while"
Sasuke widened his eyes, he couldn't believe his ears. He mentally slapped himself, thinking that he was the cause for all of their family's dillemma. "Fuck" he whispered. He opened the door, sprinting to the nurses office. The only thing his mind was telling him was to leave and meet up with Itachi. He soon arrived at the door. He steadied his breathing and knocked on the door. "Yes?" The nurse answered as she opened the door. "Ma'am, I feel really sick, may I ask your permission to leave?" Noticing his red face and sweat sticking to his forehead, she immediately gave him a few pills and excused him for the day.
Once he was out of school, he walked to Shisui's place, which happened to be a ten minute walk from school. He knocked on the door and to his "lucky" day, Itachi opened up. "Sasuke?" Sasuke gasped as he saw his brothers beat up face. "What the hell happened to you?" He asked, as worried as Itachi was when Sasuke had his fight with their father. "Father, We got in a fight" Itachi moved aside, allowing Sasuke to step in.
And for a moment he took in the beauty of Shisui's place. He had a pretty much modern apartment.
He turned back to his brother and muttered one single word.
"Explain"
