With a gleaming smile, a little nature green furred exceed with rosy cheeks and a pink frog costume skips along the clearing, straight towards the area she saw the bright glow within the darkness that elope the branches of the trees.
Her arms rising above her head, trying to get its attention. Whatever was there. Although, Frosh being slightly confused as it doesn't show itself again.
Behind her, Rogue rips out the sharp tipped arrow from the beast's jugular, the metal tip coaxed in harsh baron blood that now covers the floor in heaps from the massive creature's blood stream. A weak stomached person wouldn't be able to see the sight. Sting too busy being praised by Lector to notice or even wonder who fired it.
We a reluctant sigh, he drops the arrow into the pool of blood on the grass before scanning the area for Frosch, his eyes locking on her back, her neck tilted and her eyes staring up into the canopy of the trees. Slowly walking over, he stands at her side. His cape and shoes covered in the blood by stepping in it.
The red liquid dying his cape a hideous brown.
"What's wrong Frosch?" The shadow dragon slayer asks his partner quietly. Sting and Lector making their way over slowly.
"Fro saw something shiny!" The small exceed grins, her eyes glimmering. She points up towards the branch Erstera was perched on. Both dragon slayers' noses flare slightly; they can smell each other, the harsh scent of blood and also that beast's scent. Yet, a separate scent lingering in the air.
"Whoever's scent, or Whatever's scent that is must either of been aiming for us, or trying to take it down too." Sting states. Rubbing his chin with his knuckles. Lector landing on his shoulder as Rogue picks up Frosch.
"Shall we investigate?" Lector asks, tilting his head to the side. They look at each other before nodding. Making their slow decent into the foliage. The night causing the exceeds to be blinded, Sting's hands lighting up like a torch to guide them all through the trees and bushes.
The scent lingering with Rogue more than he would have liked.

Erstera PoV:
"Seriously! They were just like me! Can you believe it!?" Lalita squeals out, her eyes shining with joy. I roll my eyes, allowing her to slide out from my cape and onto the floor of the treehouse's main building. "I'm just so glad I'm not the only one. We've seen tonnes of Humans, but others of my kind are out there... Erstera."
I release a deep sigh. I know where this conversation is headed.
"Lalita. I've always allowed you to go out, to wonder to the closest town by yourself. But, you just stay here. I'm not caging you." I slowly pass her, out of the imaginative door and across the less stable bridge towards the sleeping quarters. Not missing the frown that lines her face as she slowly follows me.
"But, I don't want to leave you here! All alone in this... Forest. Just because-..." The bridge sways unnaturally when they are both halfway. Holding onto the rope for balance, I look over the edge. My eyes widening at the bright white light that passes up from the foliage.
Pressing my fore-finger onto my lips I silently shush Lalita, whose eyes are narrowed staring intently down. From our height, I can hear muffled voices. But, my ears cannot pick up anything.
"Lalita... We are too far up. They won't get here fast enough... Vastino Creian." I mutter. She nods, her body glowing before her body vanishes, appearing in my grip within her bow form. A pulse of magic escalating up my spine. Sheathing an arrow, she loads it up. Pulling it back up to eye level as the swirl of bright light hovers in the same place.
