You roll in your bed, rubbing your eyes, you check the time.
"00.21.." You mutter and sigh.

You've been having dreams about a mysterious man for weeks now.
In these dreams he always tells you he'll take you away, to hide you from the world, keep you for himself.

You snuggle into your blanket more, and try to find sleep once more, but your attempt fails when you hear your bedroom door opening.

But nobody's supposed to be in the house.

You feel a hand stroking your hair.

"You're so beautiful... My goddess.."

He whispers and sighs.

You get chills down your spine, and look up at him.

His eyes are dark, the only light illuminating his face being the moonlight coming from the window.

He tilts his head.

"There's curiosity in your eyes.. You've already fallen for me.."

Oh you had fallen alright.
But he was supposed to be a dream.
A fragment of your imagination.
But there he stands.
Over you, in the dead of night.

He leans in to whisper in your ear.

"I'll steal you and indulge in you.."

He chuckles.

"I'm a bit impatient.. I'm not that gentle.. I hated you.."

Your heart skips a beat, he hated you?

"But I want you.. My heart doesn't lie.."

You stare at him, he stares right back, a smirk gracing his face.

"Everyone's afraid of me... So I'm untouchable.. But, in the end, you can't reject me.."

You knew you weren't going to reject him. He was beautiful.

"You make me so crazy... You know you do..."

You tremble under his piercing gaze.

"I'll steal you... I'll ruin you... Come with me... Leave with me.."

He holds out a hand for you.

What did you have to lose?
Your boy/girlfriend had left you a week earlier, you got fired from your job, you didn't have money to pay the rent...

You look into his eyes, reaching to accept his hand, you stop midway there.

"Who are you?.." You breathe out.

He chuckles darkly.

"You can call me monster."

He says, gripping your wrist, pulling you into a delicious darkness.
