Robbie Amell as Jackson Long!!
Chapter 3.
The rest of my day goes smoothly and before I know it, it's the end of the day and ready to go to cheerleading tryouts. Brittni is the captain. I don't want to tell Brittni about this morning with Adam, but I know that I will eventually give up and tell her. Mine as well do it now, right?
I walk out to the football field, well, the track around the football field, because the football team has tryouts today also so they will be occupying the field. Brittni meets me halfway and we walk together.
"So how was your day?" She asks nicely. Brittni was the nicest girl I've ever met. Some people thought she was a bitch and a slut because she was a cheerleader. That's not the case, sure, Brittni has had her fair share of boyfriends, but she's not a slut. She cares about everybody, even if she doesn't know the person. That's why she's my best friend.
"Well, guess who was in my science class?" I ask her slowly. And she dramatically taps her finger against her chin.
"I don't know who?" She giggles. I'm really afraid to tell her. It's only because she was the one around to pick up all the pieces of my heart that Adam left behind.
"Um...Adam." I quickly say and keep my eyes trailed on the ground. She stops and I do to.
"Look at me," she demands. I hated when she was mad, if my best friend was mad it was obvious I was doing something wrong. "What happened?" she asks and raises both of her eyebrows. Oh great she's mad. Beyond mad.
"He tried apologizing." I say focused on messing with my nails. I can't bare to look at her face.
"You didn't forgive him did you?" She crossed her arms in front of her chest.
"No, of course not." I act offended. She is going to be even more mad when she finds out that I'm letting him come over to my house to "talk".
"So what's the big deal?" She questions genuinely confused.
"I said he could come over to talk about it." I blurt and her eyes turn cold.
"What!?" She yells. See I knew she wouldn't be happy. "Your letting him come over?! After what he did to you, your considering giving him another chance? I can't believe you!" She yells, she gasps for air at the end. I cringe away and she scowls.
"Girls get over here!" The coach yells to us. I take one quick glance at Brittni and run over to the team. "Stretch!" She directs. We stretch. I feel eyes on me so I turn around all the guys on the football team are staring at me. The girls stop stretching and look back at them. I turn back around, seeing as there's nothing to see and just my luck, because as soon as I went to turn around a football hits me right in the nose.
"Ow!" I grab my nose and fall to the ground.
Brittni and the couch come to my rescue. I know it's bleeding I can feel it dripping on my lips. I am to scared to remove my hand so I leave it there. Next thing I know my brother is right next to me along with Adam. Adam!?
"Are you okay, Nikki." Adam sounds concerned. I nod. Even though I am in so much pain right now. I instantly know it's broken by the pain and feeling of it. Who did this?
"Who threw it?" I asked my brother and Adam.
"Colten." Jackson sighs. Anger boils inside me and and I almost take off running. Now you know why I hate him so much!
"Get off!" I demand and everybody moves so I can get up. I immediately fall back down. Probably from the blood loss.
"Would you calm down?" Jackson sounds angry and annoyed. "Adam and I are going to take you to the hospital." He lifts me up in his arms. I only have a broken nose Jackson. I think.
At least I don't have to walk. Adam slowly follows behind, close to my side. As weird as it is, it's quite comforting to know that Adam is here with me.
When we get to the car I am put in the back seat and I lay my head down while my legs stretch across the length of the seat. Adam sits in the front and Jackson starts to drive.
"I'm going to kill him." Jackson says with venom and ice in his voice. Good, he deserves it. Big time. Once I get healed up, he should sleep with one eye open. I'll be a wanted woman.
