"hey,what happened to my bish? Looks like you're dying." Laura asked. "I'm okay!" I tried to ignore her. "Oh come on babes,are you sick?"

"Love sick.." I whispered. "What? What did you said?" she's curious. "Nah,I said I'm okay."
She rolled her eyes. God,I love her! My one and only Laura.

I took a quick look to the spot where Simon is. I'm in shock when I realized,we've caught by each other's eyes. So I directed my attention to other thing inside the café. I have no idea why I feel so shy when it comes to Simon.

A few minutes later,I look at his spot again but he wasn't there now. He probably leaved.

Well,thanks Simon. I like the rose..

(6:00 pm)

I was packing up. "bye babes,see you tomorrow!"
"H-hey wait Delly!" she hold my arms so tight! "Ouch!" I screamed and she quickly removed it. "Oh,sorry. Uhm Adele? Can we talk? Just the two of us.." huh?

Laura brought me in town,in a newly opened restaurant to be exact. She ordered food for us. She's damn serious and I don't know what's with her!

"Laura? I have no fuckin' idea why we're here."
"Treat my bish." she said with a dreadful look. "why are you being like that?" I asked,trying not to laugh. She's so cute!
She took a deep breath before speaking up again- "Del,you're fucking 28 now-" she stopped for the waiter served the drink and the salad.

"Sorry for interupting,the dished to be followed." the waiter said. "Okay,thank you.." I took a sip from the lemonade juice and get my eyes back to Laura. "So what if I'm fucking 28 now?" I asked. "Bitch,you're getting older are you not going to be married yet?" She asked seriously with an annoyed tone. I almost choked the salad that I'm eating and I barely cough.

"What?! Are you serious? Are we here to talk about that thing? Oh god! What's the shit out of you?!" I yelled at her.
"Adele,look. Peter the bouncer is a very good guy for you,I guess? He's been chasing you for a couple of months-and yet you won't entertain him. And goodness! Simon the stranger,he's thoughtful,a gentleman maybe and last but not the least,his perfume that can make every women's underwear wet is life!" fuck you Laura,why are you really serious about this thing?

"Adele,would you ignore the sign God has given you? He sent Simon and Peter all the way from heaven just for you to decide who!!" I looked down and start giggling. The waiter's confused,standing beside Laura for a seconds. I look at Laura and I bet,she feels really awkward.

"H-here's the dishes madams,enjoy your meal!" He put it on our table.

Silence.

Laura starts eating while madly looking at me. She's so funny,I tried all my best not to laugh really hard but I can't! "Hahahahahaha! L-laura.. Hahahaha! Are y-you crazy?! Hahaha!" My laugh is the only thing that filled the silence between the two of us. Okay. She's damn serious,hahaha! What the hell!

I rubbed my tummy for it hurts 'cause I laugh so much. Then I brace myself to speak up,trying not to laugh. "Okay,I'm serious now." I said looking at her eyes. "Laura,getting married is not in my vocabulary right now. And what if I'm fuckin' 28? It doesn't matter to me!  My top priority for now is no other than Sephora,mother and myself as well. You know very well that all I ask is their love,don't you? I need to get their love first. Family before everything,you know that." I explained.

"I know,I understand. I'm not provoking you Adele. But honestly,I think you wouldn't get their love at all. Seph hates you so much,you know that. And your mother,yeah she loved you before but what about now? You cannot bring back her husband." My heart breaks into pieces. Tears nearly fall from my eyes.

"Do you know what I mean Adele? I'm not discouraging you to chase after them. But for what I can see right now,it will be hard for you. Adele,I'm your bestfriend. I'm always here for you. But I cannot promise to be always by your side. You know very well that I'm already engaged and sooner or later I will have my own family,my own life. Do you know what I mean? What I'm trying to say is,get a man that will love you and will take care of you. So when the time comes that everyone will be leaving,atleast you have a man that will never leave you.."

I suddenly burst into tears and starts to gasp.

"Babes,I'm only worried about you,I'm just concerned. I hope it will not make you feel bad. I'm doing this because I love you,so much." She said in final and then she gave me a big hug. She started crying too.

That night,I locked my door and cried really hard. Realizing that Laura's right. I cannot get Sephora and mother's love easily. Though,I've been trying every single day of my life. 18 years.. Is that really long? I've been chasing them for 18 years..

"get a man that will love you and will take care of you. So when the time comes that everyone will be leaving,atleast you have a man that will never leave you.."
