Simon's the man.

It's already 8 in the evening and I was driving back home. I made it a habit- I always pick Adele and her bestfriend,and I'm happy with their company...specially with Adele's company.
It's been exactly one month since I met her and we're pretty comfortable with each other.

That night,I was shock seeing her at the dark side of the road. I took a closer look if she's really Adele or not-but I'm not mistaken,she's Adele. Standing while speaking to someone on the phone,I guess? And Jesus Christ! Why is she crying? And-why does she have those baggage with her? So many question,I should come to her.

I immediately step out of my car and run towards her. She was surprised seeing me in front of her. "S-simon?" she wiped her tears and ended the phone call. "Adele,what happened? What are you doin' here and.. What are those bags?" After I asked her those questions,she burst into tears and covered her face with her both hands. "what's wrong?" I rubbed her back and,. And gave her a hug.

Simon,what are you doing?

It just felt really comfortable when she didn't even try to escape from that warm hug of mine.
I brought her in my car and also put the bags in the compartment.
And I dared to ask what happened. Because of that,she told me about everything. The story of her life. I was moved by emotions. "I planned of this thing for a very long time,but I can't. Family is everything. But I basically don't fit for them. I hate to do this but I have to. I wish nothing but the best for them,Simon." Pool of emotions had followed. "Adele please calm yourself down,you are crying a lot."

Nothing filled the silence between us but her sniffs,cry and blows.

We already reached Laura's apartment. She told me to bring her here. "Are you staying here?" I asked. "yes,but it will not take longer. I will find another apartment for me."

I step out of my car,carry her luggage in front of the door and I knocked. Then finally, I opened the door for Adele. As she step out,I hold her hand-and they were cold yet so soft.. "Simon,thank you so much.." she whispered. "Adele I'm always here. Whenever you need me,just call me."

I hug her again and thay was the most comfortable thing ever.

"Two of you! What are you doing,Jesus Christ?! Adele,babes.. Come here,get inside." Laura spoke and I let go of Adele.

Right after she got inside,Laura walks towards me. "Darling,thank you so much for bringing Del here. You're the man!" she gave me a big thumbs up and I went home with a big smile.

Laura gave me some words of wisdom before we go to bed. We share bed anyways. Staying in my bestfriend's apartment is temporary. Soon,she'll be married and I don't wanna be a dumbass. I will get my own apartment sooner or later.

It's already 11 pm and I'm still awake-wide awake. I look at Laura and she's sleeping really deep. I slowly get up of our bed and went to the apartment's balcony. As I walk by,cold fresh air slaps me. As the lighted city say hello to me. Laura lived in an high apartment and the place gives me chills.

I cannot force myself not to cry. Adele,you leave your family. And yea,we had a great quarrel. That's what pushed me to just leave them and let them live without me.

But then I can still feel the warm of Simon's hug,surrounding me.. I felt really safe in his arms,the reason why I didn't even tried to escape.
