Not only was it the end of the tour, but the days of Mindless Behavior was over. Roc looked at Keisha until he couldn't hold it anymore. He dropped down to the ground, right in front of the whole waiting room. "Roc!" Princeton and Prodigy yelled as they ran over to him.
"Roc, what's wrong?!"
"Tell them, Keisha.." he cried.
"Tell them... I can't say it!"
Prodigy and Princeton looked up at Keisha, and without her even having to say anything, they shook their heads and stood up. "Keisha... d-don't tell me Ray has to.." Prod stuttered.
She pulled them in for a hug, and dug her head in between their shoulders. "Guys, just be strong for Ray.." she cried.
"He needs you the most."
Zonnique let the wind blow through her hair as she drove down the interstate.
Like she did for the pass day or two, she did nothing but smoke. The cigarette was cocked in between her index and middle finger, ready to be smoked.
Ten minutes, she pulled up to IHOP. "Time to put you away." she said in a raspy voice. She threw her cigarette down then crushed it with her foot.
The putrid odor of the tobacco got through all of her clothes, making the smell impossible to ignore. As she made her way through the doors of the restaraunt, she was approached by a black woman waitress.
"Hello, welcome to IHO-"
The lady froze, staring at Zonnique's face. Right there, Zonnique wanted to just crawl into a hole and make herself suffer from being so hideous.
Instead, she took an unusual toll.
"What the hell you looking at, huh?"
"M-ma'am, I- I was just thinking about something! I didn't meant to star-"
"Oh, YOU meant to stare at me. Because if you didn't, you wouldn't almost be drooling. Now stop stealing glances, and take my order."
Almost instantly, the waitress jumped and led her to her seat. Finally, SOMEONE was respecting Zonnique, or at least that's what she thought.
Fifteen minutes later, Zonnique had her omelette, sausages, and eggs with a sweet tea on the side. Once the waitress placed everything down on the table, she nervously backed up and held her palms together. "Is there anything else I can get you..?"
"Mmm.. no." Zonnique said, un flattered. The waitress nodded her head then walked off, leaving Zonnique to pig into everything.
After she ate all of her food, she pulled out a cigarette and lit it up- right there in the middle of everyone. As she blew out her smoke, her flip phone started vibrating.
"Hello?" she groaned.
"Nique? Girl, I thought we were supposed to be going out! Where are you?" Babydoll laughed.
"Bre, I'm out doing me. I'm enjoying my own time, in my own world, in my own body-"
"But... I came down here to be with you. What the hell am I supposed to be doing in your house when you're out with my car?" Babydoll said, trying to be patient.
"Just wait for me! I'll be there in a little bit."
"But, what were you doing with my damn car anyways? I never ONCE gave you permission to drive it."
Zonnique sighed and took another puff of her cigarette. "Listen, Breee.."
Babydoll tightened her jaw and breathed out, preparing for any bull Zonnique was going to say. "We're girls! You're my best friend, and I knew you would be cool about it, babe. We're cool like that. Aren't we?"
