Almost as a force of instinct, the top half of my body lifts itself in shock.

"Hey, you're going to hurt yourself if you keep that up!" A gruff voice reprimands me, "How the Hell-" I stop before I can finish my sentence and notice the same man that I met in my previous dream state.

"Kaiba?"

"This is the second time you've called me that. Who is this man you speak of?" The stranger asks, "First, I want to know who you are. I need answers, and I need them now." I say with the most demanding tone I can muster, which isn't much since I'm feeling lightheaded.

"My name is Seto, but it's Priest to you." The man who looks like the spitting image of Kaiba hands me a clay cup filled with water, and after I drink to my heart's content he speaks again.

"I know you must be confused but we're trying to get the situation under control as fast as we possibly can. In the meantime, you might as well make yourself useful." The man- 'Seto's' harsh tone of voice makes me shudder but the comment is quickly followed by a smile- well, more of a grin.

"Now, tell me who this man is." He demands and just as quickly as the grin appeared, it fades. "He just reminds me a lot of you. He's someone I know from back home." Well, technically I'm not lying.

"Oh, really? And where's home to you?" Seto shifts in the chair he's sitting in and props one leg on top of the other, waiting patiently for my response. "Domino City, Japan." I answer and twiddle my thumbs on my lap, this trivia is kinda nerve wracking. Seto raises a curious brow, almost as if he thinks I'm crazy. Well, I do feel kind of crazy for even being in this weird alternate reality I've created for myself. "So-"

Seto stands from the wooden chair sitting adjacent to the bed I'm laying on and exits the room without another word. Oh, okay... Now, I need to gather my thoughts. All I really can do is look around, I guess. I lift the Egyptian cotton covers away from my body and let my feet fall to the clay flooring. Heaving out a sigh, I stand up - albeit a little wobbly at first, I manage to gain my composure after a few minutes of pacing.

Propping myself by the window on the left side of the bed, I look out into the atmosphere that surrounds me, one which I've never seen before. I saw a beautiful temple lined in gold straight ahead of me that one could only dream of living in, palm trees pillared the four corners of the courtyard nicely and there was a dreamy pool in front of the main entrance.

This has to be the Pharaoh's Temple, if Ancient Egypt is indeed where I am. Might as well play along, even though this is quite a vivid dream.. And I'm self-aware.

I... Actually recognize this temple. A Priest betrayed his Pharaoh in search of power since he'd always been undermined. Huh, this couldn't be the same place, could it? But then... I have pictured it like this from the descriptions I've heard- wait, is that Seto?

There the High Priest is, mounting a horse and heading straight for the temple. Should I follow him? I look around the room I've been confined to, duh. I pace towards the door that I still haven't stepped outside of and turn my head to both sides, a long corridor greeting me on my way out.

I step out, caution tensing my every move, taking one last look behind me to make sure I'm not being tailed, I make a run for it.

I gotta know what this Priest is all about! And that's when I feel a pair of strong arms wrap around my torso and lift me into the air. I flail around, feverishly searching for some form of escape but to no avail. I'm pulled into a shadowy corner with no way of getting out of the situation I'm in.

"Help!" I cry out when I no longer see the Pharaoh's Temple in sight. Priest Seto left me alone with a kidnapper and there's nothing I can do about it but try my best to fight. Just then, a roar echoes through my head, "No!"

A pang that feels like I've been hit with a sledgehammer explodes in the back of my head and I fall to my knees, the arms wrapped around me suddenly letting me go.

"Not now..." are the last words I can choke out before my eyes close and darkness blankets me once more.
