when we were small

when we were small 

we'd try to steal the moon

when we were small

we'd try to be so tall 

when we were small

we'd try to be so big

when we're small

we'd try to play the drums with pots and spoons

when we were small 

we tried the  to be the best 

of them all

now we're older 

we so try hard

now we're older

we forgot what its like to be told

now we're older

its not like what we thought it would be 

now we're older

we've forgotten what its like to be young

when we were small
