Max grabs me by the arm and starts to drag me up the stairs into our room, he pushes me inside and slams the door shut behind him, "what were you two doing?!" He shouts in questioning.

My mouth trembles as I try to speak up, "n-nothing, I just wanted to get some air and he was there when I entered the pool house" I tell him, honestly.

Max stares at me and slowly nods after a few seconds, he sighs and shakes his head. "I'm sorry, I just got jealous" he whispers, he walks to his side of the bed. I keep my eyes on his back as he sits down on the bed, facing away from me.

"I don't want you near Aeneas anymore, he'll be leaving soon" he says, he'll be leaving soon? "What do you mean? Are you planning on firing him?" He can't fire him because of what happened tonight, it will be my fault if he decides to fire Aeneas.

Max lays down on the bed and his eyes meet mine, I know he's trying to see what I'm thinking. He's trying to see what's going on inside of my head at the moment. "Maybe" he says. I keep my face calm, I know he wants to see if I'll have a reaction, any sign that could give anything away.

"Do whatever you want" I say, I walk towards the bed and get on it, I lay on my side so I don't have to face him. I'm able to feel his eyes on the back of my head. "I will" he whispers before turning off the lamp light on his nightstand.

I wake up to the maid knocking on my bedroom door, I open it and she tells me that breakfast is ready. I quickly get ready for the day before making my way downstairs and into the dining room to have breakfast.

"Is Max home?" I ask the maid when she brings out my food, she smiles and nods. "Yes, he's in the living room" she tells me. I thank her for the food before getting up and heading to the living room to see what he's up to.

I stop in my tracks when Max and Aeneas come into my view. "You'll only be here for one more week" Max tells him. Aeneas seems calm and relaxed as he relaxes back on the sofa in front of Max who's back is facing me. He's wearing a black suit and his hair is messy, like he just got out of bed.

Out of no where a smirk appears on Aeneas face, "whatever pleases you, Maxwell. You never really seem to change, always so cautious about everything" I'm able to hear Max sigh, most likely annoyed about what Aeneas just said.

I really shouldn't be eavesdropping on their conversation, but what did Aeneas mean? Did Max and him already know each other before he started working here? By the way they're talking, anyone would say that they have been friends for a long time. I shake my head and before I'm able to take a step back, Aeneas eyes meet mine.

Fright runs through his eyes, he quickly stands and clears his throat. Max turns his head and sees me standing by the living room entrance. "Excuse me" Aeneas says before walking away, he walks right pass me without saying a word or even sparing me a glance.

I keep my eyes on Max and he does the same to me. "Are you going to have breakfast with me?" I open my mouth and ask him. I can't say anything about what I just heard, he'll think I have something going on with Aeneas. He'll wonder why I care and why it matters if they know each other or not.

"Yes, I'll have breakfast with my lovely wife" Max stands and walks towards me, he stops in front of me and looks down at me with a tender smile on his lips.

"We're still going on our date, right?" He ask in a whisper. I nod, not giving it to much thought. It's just a date with my husband anyways.

Max pecks my lips before grabbing my hand and leading us to the dining room, where our food is waiting for us.

As we finish eating, Max's phone starts to ring. He answers it and whispers it's from work before standing up to go talk in private. I can't stop thinking about earlier, do Max and Aeneas know each other on a personal level? Are they friends? What are they to each other?

"You seem to be thinking a lot" I look up to see those blue eyes smiling down at me. Aeneas sits down where Max was last sitting on. "What's on your mind?" He ask. I don't hesitate in asking him. "Do you and Max know each other?" Aeneas smiles, "of course, he's my boss" I roll my eyes at him.

"You know what I'm talking about" I hiss at him. Aeneas tilts his head to the side with a smirk on his lips. His eyes slowly travel down to my lips before he suddenly stands, he leans down and his lips touch my ear. "Why does it matter? I'm just a butler to you anyways" he pulls away and before I'm able to say anything back, Max walks into the dining room again with his phone in hand.

He glances at Aeneas and then at me. He smiles, "it was nothing important" he says, he sits down beside me. I nod with a fake smile on my lips. "Are you ready to go?" Max ask me, "yes, just let me grab my things" I get up from the chair and walk away.

I need to know who Aeneas really is. Is he one of Max's friends? If he is, why haven't I met him before? I know all of Max's friends or at least I think I do.

I enter my room and grab my purse that's sitting on my nightstand, I make sure my phone and wallet are inside. As I turn around with my purse in hand, Max walks in, "I'm going to change, I don't want to be wearing a suit when it's my day off" he walks pass me and heads into our closet. I head back downstairs to wait for him there, instead.

Before I reach the last bottom step, I see Aeneas now standing by the entrance door with his eyes straight ahead. He seems to be lost in his own thoughts before he sees me step down the last step of the staircase.

He glances behind me to make sure that Max isn't following. "Will you need anything before you leave with Mr. Arias on your date, Mrs. Arias?" He ask with what appears to be a fake, forced smile. I ignore his question, "Who are you?"

Aeneas forced smile disappears from his lips, he steps towards me and carefully puts the back of his hand against my right cheek. That act alone sends those pleasurable sparks that I crave so much through my body. "I'm just a man in a suit Mrs. Arias" he whispers. His eyes quickly cover in lust as they look down at me.

"Just a man who can't seem to hold back when he's around you. I'm a man who's falling in love with you" Aeneas pulls his hand away and stands by the entrance door again without saying another word to me.

His eyes travel down to the floor and they stay there. Who is this man? Who is this butler that works in my home, is he even a real butler? Confusion covers my mind, I'm confused about the different emotions that I'm feeling for him at this moment.

Aeneas grabs the door nub and pulls the white door open. I look back to see Max coming down the stairs, wearing a pair of blue jeans with a normal gray shirt. He smiles and grabs my hand once he reaches me.

We both walk out the mansion, hand in hand and this time I'm able to feel Aeneas eyes on me as we leave the place.
