"Hello. What can I help you with?" Angelo asked, smiling up at the taller teenager.

"Just a coffee please." She sighed, leaning on the counter. "Slow day?" She asked, tilting her head. Angelo nodded, sitting a coffee cup in front of her.

"$5.12." The woman quickly handed him her card, Angelo scanning it. "Have a good day." Angelo whispered as she walked out. He bit his lip as the clock hit twelve. Chris wasn't here. He wiped off the counter, walking around the little shop, and fixing the chairs. He frowned as the door opened and several people walked in.

"Are you Angelo?" A woman with black and red hair asked. Angelo slowly nodded, backing up. "Chris wants to have you for lunch."

"I can't... I can't leave." Angelo stuttered.

"We'll watch your shop for you. We're friends of Chris." The woman chuckled, shrugging. "Go. He really wants this, and I'm sure you'll have fun." Angelo slowly nodded, walking behind the counter. He slowly took off his black apron looking at the woman.

"Where is he?"

"There's a car outside. The driver will take you to him." Angelo bit his lip. "Go." The woman said. Angelo went outside, frowning as a driver opened a car door for him. Angelo hesitantly got into the car wincing as the door was shut.

"Don't be so worried, sir. I'm the best driver on the east coast." The driver chuckled. "Name's Bobby, but people just call me Bob." Angelo nodded, picking at the small hole in his jeans. The rest of the drive was silent. Bob quickly opened the door, smiling as Angelo stepped out. Angelo's eyes widened as he stared at the extremely fancy restaurant.

"Shit." Angelo whispered. Bob chuckled shaking his head.

"I was told to take you inside." Angelo nodded, following Bob. Bob walked up to the hostess's desk, smiling down at her. "Where's Chris?"

"At his usual table. Who's this?" The woman raised an eyebrow up at Angelo.

"He's eating lunch with Chris." Bob shrugged, guiding Angelo through the restaurant. Angelo blushed, people staring at him. He stuck out like a sore thumb.

"Angelo." Chris chuckled, standing up. Angelo blushed even darker, looking up at Chris. "Thank you Bob."

"I'm going home now." Bob sighed, walking away. Chris pulled the chair out from across his, motioning for Angelo to sit down.

"Thank you for coming." Chris said, smiling at Angelo. Angelo hesitantly smiled, looking down at the table. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." Angelo shook his head. "Nothing is wrong." Angelo sighed, looking up. "It's just been awhile since I've been out." Angelo nervously smiled at him, rubbing his hands together.

"That makes sense." Chris chuckled. A waiter walked up to their table. Chris immediately looked up, Angelo looking down. "Angelo, what do you want to eat?" Angelo shrugged, biting his lip. "Do you want me to order?" Angelo quickly nodded, shyly smiling up at him. Chris quickly ordered something that sounded way out of Angelo's pay range.

Angelo giggled as Chris told him a random story of his little sister. He had ended up listening to Chris talk the entire time. He didn't mind. He loved listening to other people.

"You've barely said a word." Chris frowned. "Am I boring you?"

"No." Angelo shook his head. "I-I like listening." Angelo smiled, blushing. Chris chuckled, nodding his head. Angelo quickly checked his watch, frowning at the time.

"What's wrong?" Chris asked.

"It's three." Angelo mumbled. Chris nodded, waving the waiter over and asking for the check.

"Before you say anything, I'm paying." Chris chuckled. Angelo frowned, messing with his hands.

"Was this a uh date?" Angelo asked, biting his lip.

"If you want it to be." Chris smiled at him, titling Angelo's face up. "Do you?" Angelo slowly nodded. "Good. May I take you out again?"

"Yes." Angelo sighed, a breathy chuckled leaving his lips.

"Let's get you back to you cute little shop." Angelo nodded, standing up with Chris.

Angelo smiled as Chris followed him into the shop. He stopped, his eyes wide at the sight of his shop. He quickly ran around, picking up coffee cups and wiping up coffee stains.

"Angelo." Chris sighed, placing a hand on Angelo's arm. "Ashley did say she was going to watch the shop right?"

"Ashley?"

"Black and red hair." Angelo quickly nodded, turning back to the trash on the floor. "I'm gonna go check the back." Chris quickly walked to the back of the coffee shop, frowning at the sight of Ashely on the floor. "Shit."

"What's wrong?" Angelo asked, walking up behind Chris. "Oh my... We have to call..."

"No. It's alright." Chris sighed, bending down. He quickly tapped Ashley's face a couple times, smiling as she groaned.

"Chris? How was your date?" Ashley groaned, sitting up.

"That's doesn't matter right now. What the fuck happened?" Chris asked, helping Ashley stand up.

"These guy came in and asked for Angelo. Got mad, and trashed the place." Ashley shrugged. "Knocked me out." She spoke as though it was normal for her to get hit.

"You need to go to the hospital." Angelo spoke, his eyes wide.

"I'm fine." Ashley waved her hand, looking up at Chris. "I'm gonna kill that guy."

"No you won't." Chris sighed. "Angelo, is there anyone that would want to hurt you?" Angelo shook his head, frowning.

"Why?"

"Someone came here looking for you and trashed the place when they didn't." Chris stated. "Are you safe where you live?" Angelo nodded, crossing his arms.

"Yeah. I need to clean up." Angelo quickly moved away from them, grabbing a broom.

"Hey. Let me call..."

"No." Angelo stated shaking his head. "I can do it." Chris nodded.

"If anything ever happens call me." Chris said, gently kissing Angelo's cheek. "Okay." Angelo nodded, blushing. "I have to go, and do some things. I'll take you this weekend?" Chris smirked at him, Angelo nodding.

"Okay." Angelo whispered, watching Chris and Ashley leave.

Angelo sighed. He was barely done and it was getting late. He had to finish yet he knew he couldn't. He made the decision that the shop would have to stay closed the next day. He gently placed the broom where it was before and locked up. He left his shop, walking home. He kicked a rock on the sidewalk, rubbing his nose. It was freezing. He quickly made it to his apartment, frowning as he found more flowers.

"Someone has a secret admirer." Angelo looked at his neighbor, smiling at the small, older woman.

"I guess so." Angelo chuckled, picking up the flowers. "I got some yesterday."

"You should find out who that nice man was that put them there. He was pretty handsome."

"Okay Ms. Dorothy." Angelo chuckled, smiling at her. "Do you need help with anything?"

"No sweetie. I'm fine." Ms. Dorothy sighed, waving Angelo off as she shuffled down the hall. "They finally fixed the elevator." She said as she stepped onto the old, rickety elevator heading down.
