Angelo sighed. Today was a slow day in his coffee shop. He slowly nibbled on one of his muffins, reading a magazine. He sat the rest of the muffin behind the register when the bell ran around twelve. He looked up at the man from the day before.
"H-Hi." Angelo stuttered. The man smiled at him causing Angelo to blush.
"Hey. Today a slow day?" The man asked. Angelo nodded.
"Same thing as yesterday?"
"Yes." The man leaned on the counter, frowning. "Did I interrupt your lunch?"
"Hm?" Angelo turned, holding a cup of coffee. "Oh, no you didn't. I-I don't really l-leave the shop during the d-day." Angelo shrugged. He handed the man the coffee. "Is that a-all?"
"No. I need to pay." The man chuckled. Angelo blushed, quickly putting his order in.
"5.12." Angelo sighed, smiling as Chris handed him a ten. He went to make change, frowning as a tattooed hand was placed on his own.
"Keep it." The man chuckled. "It's for yesterday too." Angelo bit his lip, nodding. "If you really want to give me something in return you could let me take you out on a date." Angelo blushed even darker, his eyes wide.
"I um uh..." Angelo stuttered, quickly turning and organizing his cups. "I-I-I don't know." Angelo bit his lip.
"It's alright." The man chuckled. Angelo nodded, lowering his face. "I never introduced myself. My name's Christopher, but you can call me Chris."
"Angelo. Angelo Parente." Angelo smiled up at him.
"See you later Angelo Parente." Chris chuckled, leaving the small coffee shop.
Angelo sighed as the clock hit nine and he turned the open sign to closed. He slowly cleaned off the tables, straightening the chairs, and organizing the back. He frowned as the door chimed.
"Hello?" Angelo called, walking to the front. He stopped at the sight of the three people from yesterday.
"Hey. Are you really closed?" The woman pouted. Angelo slowly nodded. "Aww. Is there any way I can get a tea off you?"
"Okay." Angelo murmured turning around.
"Told you he was really submissive." The shorter male sighed. "You don't have to. We're really here to give you this." The man held out a small slip of paper, placing it on the counter. "Chris would like you to call him."
"O-Okay." Angelo stuttered, picking the paper up. "I-I will."
"I'll be back tomorrow morning to get that tea." The woman chuckled. Angelo nodded, frowning as the three walked out.
Angelo slowly walked home to his apartment building. He was lucky to only live a few blocks from his shop. He let out a groan, his hands shaking from the cold as he attempted to unlock the door to the building. He quickly reached his apartment, frowning at roses on his doorstep. He slowly picked them up, opening his door, and setting them on his counter.
Angelo pulled his phone out his pocket, and the phone number. He slowly typed it into his phone, sending a quick text with his name. He quickly threw his phone on his couch, moving to make his dinner.
Angelo smiled down at the spaghetti, jumping when his phone went off. He sat down on the couch, picking it up. He smiled down at Chris's text. He quickly unlocked his phone, jumping once against as it started to ring.
"H-Hello." Angelo stuttered, mentally face-palming.
"Hi Angelo. I'm glad you texted me." Chris chuckled through the phone. Angelo blushed, letting out a small squeak. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah." Angelo whispered.
"What are you doing?"
"I um made food." Angelo chuckled. "What... What about you?" Angelo asked.
"Hmm. I just got home." Chris spoke. Angelo smiled, sitting cross-legged on the couch. "I suppose you got home safely."
"Yeah." Angelo frowned, looking over at the flowers. "I have to go."
"Okay sweetie. You go to sleep." Chris chuckled. Angelo mumbled a quick good bye before hanging up. He let out a heavy sigh slowly eating. He got halfway done before he put the plate on the counter, and walked to his room.
