Years had passed since Bill Cipher was erased from the confinement of Stan Pine's mind, and thus erased from existence. Presumably.

During the time that Stan began to recover his memories, he was able to remember bits and pieces of Bill's existence. He never fully recovered an exact image of his form; but he remembered the voice, the actions, and the evil that was Bill. This allowed for a new version of the demon to be created-- a version in a much more pleasant form, as well.

Stan kept quiet about it, though. He had no clue as to what he created, but he still didn't think bringing him up would do any good. He felt that it was best to keep skeletons in the closet, where they belonged.
But that couldn't erase the new Bill. He was able to become stronger over the years, and by now, he was almost powerful enough to leave the old man's hellhole of a mind and take on an independent means of existence. But he had to get power from someone else, first, since he'd drained Stan of any power he could deem useful. And he thinks he found the perfect candidate.

***Reader's POV***

"So yeah, you'll be staying here for the summer. Sorry it's a cot, but Ford's room is kind of occupied..." Stan says, motioning into a small attic of a room. Two twin beds stand on either side, and a blank cot lays in the middle. It's easy to tell which side of the room belongs to Mabel, and the other to Dipper. I shrug and set my backpack down onto the bed, beginning to unpack.~ Dipper brings in my other suitcase (how gentlemanly, good sir), and Mabel darts to my belongings. Stan leaves us to our devices, going to watch the recording of duck-tective.

"So what'd you bring" Mabel asks, curiously looking in my bag.

"Just some sketchbooks, my phone and computer... Not much else." I say, taking the items and setting them down by my bed. Next, I lift up my heavy suitcase onto my bed and open it.

"There's an empty dresser over there, if you want to put your clothes up." Dipper says, speaking up behind me.

"Thank you!" I say cheerily, grabbing a few folded jeans and setting them into the wooden piece of furniture. He blushes, putting a hand behind his head. I can tell he's not good around girls, but it makes me giggle.

The two twins help me put up all of my belongings in no time, and I put the case under my bed when I finish.

"So, " I say, flopping onto the cot, "what do you guys typically do over here?"

"Well, generally in the day we explore the woods. In the evenings, we tend to just goof around the Shack. Grunkle Stan said we'd let you rest today, though so romorrow we can celebrate," Dipper says, sitting down on his bed.

"What're we celebrating?"I ask, clearly confused.

"You, dummy!" Mabel replies with a big smile.

"Seriously?"

"Yeah! It's pretty rare that a new person arrives in Gravity Falls!" A light blush spreads across my face. I'm not used to being celebrated. Mabel rummages through a pile of her belongings and pulls out a large rectangular box, labeled Several Timez Monopoly. Dipper groans in agony.

"Mabel, I thought you were over that dumb band. You set them free, remember? I really don't understand as to why you have to play this thing AGAIN." She holds a finger up to her smiling lips.
"Be quiet, Mr.GrouchyMcGrouchypants. If you want to get to know our new guest, you'll have to do it while playing as your favorite member!"

"I don't have a favorite member." She sets the box on the ground, unpacking its contents.

"Oh, hush. You like Several Timez, don't you, y/ n?"

"Not exactly, but I do like Monopoly!" I say, taking a seat on the floor.

"See? Y/n's playing, Dipper...."

"Fine." he says, trudging to our spot on the floor. He looks at me for a second, then grabs a gamepiece.

***Narrator's POV***

Dipper sighed, rolling the dice yet again. He hated this game, but he wanted desperately wanted to get to know y/n. She had beautiful h/c hair, soft s/c skin, and a really cute laugh. No matter how hard he tries, he can never help but fall hard for girls during the summer. In school, he just studies. But here... well, you remember Wendy. It was like love at first glance with the both of them, and it still really sucked. It was hard and nobody could ever understand.
"AWW YUSS, YOU LANDED ON HAIRSPRAY AVENUE. TIME TO PAY UP, DIPPER!" Y/ n cheered, snapping the boy out of his lovelorn trance. He handed her his fee, and she mischeviously placed it in her money pile.
"Why in the world would they name it Hairspray Avenue? It's like they just made This game for brainless teenage girls."
"Hey, I am NOT brainless!" Mabel chided, wriggling her pale finger in his face.
"It's true." He replied simply, careful not to reply with an embarrassing comeback. Y/n laughed, and he sighed with relief. Good jop, Dipper. You made her laugh.
the game ran until Grunkle Stan told them to go to bed, despite Mabel's complaints.
"But we were having as I much fun, Grunkle Stan!" She whined, plopping face-first onto her bed.
"Yeah, yeah. You can continue in the morning, kids. Goodnight " he said, shutting the door behind him. Dipper retreated to his bed, grabbed out a book and turned on his reading light. Y/ n laid down, burying her face into her pillow.
Eventually, the snores of Mabel broke the silence of the room.
"Dipper?" Y/ n asked, turning her face towards him.
"Uh, yes, y/ n?"
"What cha reading?" His ears visibly perked up.
"Oh, this? It's actually pretty cool book on physics. You see, I skipped a year, so I take physics next year. It's a really well-written textbook, and im getting a pretty good head start on this stuff, and it's really fascinating! I could show it to you some time, if you want. I mean, you don't have too, but I me-"
"Yeah, that's pretty cool. I need a head start, too, so I would be happy for you to show it to me sometime."
"Wait, seriously?"
"Mmhmm~" she replied, dozing off at the hands of drowsiness. "Goodnight-ZZZZ" sleep cut her off, pulling the girl into black void.
"Yeah. Goodnight, y/n"

***Dream Reader's POV***

. I'm on my bed, listening to my music on blast. The roof is gone, and gentle snowflakes flutter into my room. I smile at the sight. It isn't cold, but not warm, either. It's at a perfect temperature.
My solitude is interrupted, however, by a figure materializing above my head.
"Hey there, sunshine. How's it hangin'?" Startled, I rip out my earplugs and jolt upright
"Who are you?" I ask, observing the man above me. He floats to my desk, taking a comfy seat in my chair.
"Just a person looking for a friend, my dear." He replies in a unique tone. He looks a few years older than me, has blonde hair and an eyepatch covering his left eye. His apparel is formal, and his looks are far more than sexy. "By the way, I heard that."
"Heard what?"
"You think I'm sexy."
"How would you know that?"
"Because I know everything." He replies coolly. I corner up against the wall, suddenly intimidated by his cool charm.
"And how, exactly, would you know everything?" I ask. He stands up and slowly begins to walk towards me, his steps somehow clicking on the carpet. When he gets to me, he lifts my chin up with his gloved hand and puts his face towards mine. We're so close that I can feel his cold breath, causing me to shiver despite the pleasant weather. He moves his lips down to my ear and whisper a single sentence before I wake up.
"Because I am a demon, sweetheart."
