"No, Mabel, there is no way in hell I will ever wear this... this garbage." Dipper says to his female counterpart with crossed arms. The second he woke up, he practically lurched out of bed in order to get away from the frilly pink apparel.

"But Diipppeeeerrrr! You Promised!" Mabel wines, shaking the dress for emphasis.

"No, Mabel, you're putting words in my mouth. You're the person who pushed this on me, and there is absolutely no way I would ever agree to a bet like that, especially a bet that I know I couldn't win. I think that of all people, you would know that," He replies, sounding more angered by the word.

"But why nootttt," she complains with a whine, rolling her eyes and casting him an over exaggerated slouch.

"No, Mabel. I said no, and that's final." He says, stomping out of the room for breakfast. She sighs.

"I'll get him to wear it. Eventually." she mumbles, following his footsteps with the dress in hand. Waddles, her pig, follows along innocently. I groan, slowly getting out of bed and shutting the door before I throw on some jeans, a band t-shirt, and a thick coat of mosquito repellent. Bill is still silent, which makes me relieved, since I could use a little peace after all the trauma he and the memory of the gnomes have caused me.

I throw on some flip-flops and head to the kitchen, where another bowl of premade cereal waits for me that I presume Dipper made. I don't say anything, but still can't help giving him a look of thanks. He lightly blushes again and stares down at his barely eaten breakfast. I sit down and begin to fill my belly, quietly looking back and forth between the two twins. Mabel, still with the dress tight in her grasp, stares holes into her brother while he angrily fiddles with his spoon.

"so uh... what were you guys thinking of doing today?" I ask. Both of them are silent, but my question is still answered by Stan.

"Well, since all the fun was spent yesterday, today is dead-set on strictly on business. Soos will be here in about an hour, and you're going to be Wendy's new replacement at the register." He replies, haphazardly filling his cracked coffee cup with the piping hot caffeine. I nod, gong back to munching on my food as Mabel looks up.

"Wait. Wendy's replacement?" She slowly smiles, her eyes darting to Dipper.

"Yep. It's not like the register's gonna run itself."

Mabel giggles as Dipper rolls his eyes in annoyance.

Dipper had a pretty big crush on Wendy.

Really? I so couldn't tell. I reply sarcastically, tuning his witty remarks out as I ask Stan to pass me a coffee cup.

I pour myself some to help get me through a work-day.
