I continue to stare at her, almost trying to send signals with my eyes. Then it occurs to me that her boyfriend has his arm tightly around her waist, almost digging his nails in. I pick up speed, almost as fast as I can walk, and hit his arm and a little bit of her side as well. "It's ok, I think I got my point across" I continuewalking, refusing to look back. That was suppose to look like an accident, and if it didn't I was going to get a punch "Needy Boyfriend Style".
She's so pretty. How could she be in a Kiss Me status with that douche. Something needs to happen. And fast. I enter the school, almost tripping up the stairs because I was walking at such a speed. I catch myself and try to walk a bit slower up the long staircase toward the gates of hell.
"Why is he even allowed here." I think as I walk. "This is a all girls school. Does his mom or dad work here? What is that little twerp's excuse to be here ruining her life." I hate that he's here! I want to be able to get to know her, but I can't with that little ass licking, dumb as shit, laughable moron sticking around. But I need to talk to her! I take a breath. "It's only the first day" I remind myself. "And you should look up, because everyone's probably staring at you." I look up.
Some people snicker, some wink, some just give dirty looks. I do my best poker face until I get to my locker. The bell rings, and that's apparently the warning bell before the beginning of first period. I still have to find my class. Room B 27, Math Mr. Whitney. I wander for a while trying to find the math wing, and once I do it's not hard to find my class. I sit down and the girl with the broken smile sits next to me. I glance over at her out of the corner of my eye. She's like something off a movie screen or a magazine.
She looks over at me and says "Hi". She smiles slightly. I obviously didn't reply fast enough, because she waved her hand in front of my face and said "Hello? Anybody home?" "She's just so beau-" She snaps in front of my face. "Oh! Um I'm- Um, I, um... Hi..." She giggled. "You got a name with those red cheeks." I blush even deeper "My name's Lexi." I say in the smallest voice I've ever heard myself muster. "Nice to meet you."
