OKAY SO. yesterday i went to JB HIFI on queen street @ about 12:40pm and lined up to meet the band. not getting my hopes up, i tried to convince myself i wasnt going to see or meet them (due to the line being SO FUCKING LONG!) anyways, it was about 1:10pm when the line started moving forward and i started to get a teeny bit of hope. eventually, time passed and we were in the store. i got so hyped up and nervous that i could possibly see them soon, and the buzz around me was just making me even more scared.
anyway so we got closer then eventually one of the guys from the store said that he had to cut the line off becos the band was leaving in 2 minutes! :( and i begged him not to becos its my birthday (well it was on tuesday, but this was a birthday gift ^.^) and i really wanted to meet bmth, so he cut the line off a few people behind me and my mate and i was praying the band would just hold on another 10 minutes. soon enough, i saw matt nicholls face come into view and i FREAKED THE FUCK OUT!!!!! i squealed and then covered my mouth. i didnt want to come across as a fucking typical tool ;_; anyways we started getting closer and i was terrified out of my mind. matt nicholls was literally just 2 steps away from me.
then the security guard said we could go through and omFG!!!!!!!! i was dying right there. but i was so quiet and shy of the nerves and that id stuff up and make a dick of myself. then i asked matt to sign my shirt and he was so nice about it! he has such a beautiful smile and honestly, he was just so amazing! then jordan did and i was shaking so much and he said to calm down, its okay and that im doing great. i couldnt help but smile and then i managed to stutter out "i really like your hair it looks soft." and then he was like "FEEEEEEL IIIIIT!" and leaned foraward. I TOUCHED IT AND I WAS SO FUCKING SOFT OMG!!!!!!!
then lee - HE IS SO ADORABLE - signed my shirt and he was really shy, jordan apologized for that and i almost started to cry. then matt kean smiled at me and leaned over to sign my shirt. and as he was signing it all of a sudden someone grabbed my shoulder and pulled me back. i freaked out becos i thought it was the security guard - but i kid you not it was OLI FUCKING SYKES! i was shaking so much when i turned around. i kept thanking him and i nearly cried. he kept saying "its alright love its okay, im sorry if i scared you." and i nearly started bawling. my friend and i wanted a pic with him and he was keen until the security guy said no :’( so then i waved goodbye to him and he was so sweet, until i saw his eyes glance at my arm. but i didnt see his face afterwards as i turned around.
when i stood a few meters away, i turned around to take a photo of them and he was signing this chicks CD when he noticed me again and mouthed "stay strong love" and i got tears in my eyes becos i could not fucking believe it. i had to cover my mouth with my hand becos i nearly started bawlling and nodded. but i couldnt even believe it, that i met the 5 most amazing people in my life. that have kept me sane with their music through every sleepless night, triggering moments, suffering moments, weakest moments, hospital visits, literally everything. then i ran out of the store jumping and screaming like i was on fucking drugs becos seriously, I HAD JUST MET BMTH!!!!! hOLY FUCKR.
