Four days left, four days until we could no longer see each other, four days....
Four....
The cafeteria full so I would have to wait outside for you and freezing my ass off was not an option, so I went inside only to be bombarded with yearbooks. Sitting on the floor I begin writing in the yearbook of people who I don't even really know be for David walks up and takes a seat next to me. Sitting we begin talking about the latest gossip, but really he wanted to know what I knew about his girlfriend and our good friend Sebastian.
The thing is, I'm the person you come to if you want to find out anything about anyone, and if I don't know, I find out pretty quickly. David probes me for information and I tell him everything I knew. His girlfriend, Kiara, who just HAPPENS to be my best friend, was cheating on her boyfriend, who ALSO happens to be my best friend. A lot was riding on this information. If i screwed up now there was no turning back, but at this point, I was done. My mom had given me $40 to go to the mall and i wasn't going to be in a bad mood. I mentioned the mall to David, but asked him to keep it to himself, seeing as I was still 'fighting' with his girlfriend, he politely declined and thanked me for the information and left for his first study hall of the day.
Brushing myself off I make my way to study hall only to find that I have to sit outside. Our school has this wonderful habit of being late for things. Its annoying. VERY annoying. Especially if it means i have to sit outside and wait. Standing in the cold (everything that not 70+ degrees is automatically cold to me) I bounce on my toes, until FINALLY they open the doors and let us inside. Taking my seat at one of the cafeteria tables I chat up my friends Tyler and Becca. Tyler, who I think is the squarest square that ever squared, was actually using study hall to STUDY! Like who dose that? Then there's Becca and I who are talking about who knows what, playing music off of my phone and pestering the crap out of Tyler. Finally giving up on studying Tyler joins our conversation until the the bell rings sending us off to our first final.
Meeting David in my first period class, Honors Sophomore English, for our 'final' witch consisted of reading some of our flash fiction, writing memories on the board, and sitting around doing nothing. Pulling out my phone i begin watching some YouTube videos to pass the time, kind of hating every one else's existence. after about the 7th video i take out my earbuds and start laughing. I don't even know why but I couldn't stop. Talking to David about how lemons should be called yellows or something like that he begins recording me. After about six minutes he stops recording because I have come down from my 'random high'. Laughing as I leave the classroom I walk to my next study period. Nothing too special, but i do yell out "god fucking damn it your such a dick bag don't do it!" in the middle of class, yelling at a YouTube video. Getting some strange looks from my classmates I shrink back into my seat and continue mouthing insults at my phone.
Finally the last final of the day rolls around. After being the first one to complete it, i go out and sit in the hall, a few friends follow in suite and we sit around in a beautiful little gossip circle and begin talking. Andrew was the first item on the list, and damn did his Ex Aidan ROAST him, like holy crap. Granted I knew both sides of the story, but the fact that he wanted to trash him was funny. I didn't have much to say on the topic, but everyone was supersized when they found out we hadn't "gotten down and dirty" yet. Thanks for having faith in my guys.
The day ended as it always dose, long embraces, a few exchanged words, a kiss here and there, and then I leave for the day. Our normal routine followed and a small smile on my face I climb onto the bus to leave.
