CHAPTER 4 ( THE JOURNEY TO MUSIC )

Its been monthes that Cabeer is learning Playing Drums and teaching Manik and Dhruv to play it too. Dhruv and Manik also got a sudden interest in learning guitar. They all loved litsening Cabeer playing Drums. He really got a talent not only to play but also to Make new music out of it. Drum sticks in his hands looked so nice and when he played them it was like magic going on on that spot.
Cabeer's guru being a gentle person never took a penny for teaching Cabeer. He said he could see another one like him in Cabeer and so will teach him for free.

Manik's idea of bringing some teachers to take workshops there was put into force and that was the time he learned Guitar which was accidental. What happened was......

The day was the 3rd of may. Cabeer's teacher came to have a workshop in the orphanage. He had to go to an event imidiately after that and so he bought the instrument he has to play there.
Usually they dont teach playing instruments there because they know for an orphanage children its nearly an impossible task to purchase so many instruments and they cant lend them there as they themselves dont have enough.

Manik was into singing and so with other children learning. Other children included Mukti, Aliya, Nandini, Dhruv along with few more children of the orphanage.

Teacher - Aaj ki class yahi khatam karte hai. Baaki kal seekhenge, okay??

All - yes sir..

He was leaving and packing stuff when Manik saw a bag of instrument. He went near him and asked about it.

Teacher - ohh yeh. Manik yeh guitar hai. Mera favorate instrument.

Manik - mein dekh sakta hu??

Teacher - mein tumhe iske baare me kal batata hu abhi mujhe jaldi jaana hai. Ya fir ek kaam karna aaj shaam tum bhi Cabeer ke saath class me aa jaana. Tab mein tumhe bata dunga. Theek hai?

Manik nodded and went off to take Nandini's class.
That day, he was so desperate and curious to know about Guitar and to learn it that he went to the class just after his shift at garage. He skipped the night class that day and learned many things about guitar.
The teacher offered Manik to learn it to which he said he will think about it as he have no money to purchase one.

Teacher - mere paas ek extra hai mujhse le lo.

Manik - aap already Cabeer ki fees nahi le rahe hai. Mein aap par ek aur bojh nahi daalna chahta. Voh guitar aapko kabhi n kabhi kaam aa sakta hai.

The teacher laughed at this making Manik frown.

Teacher - ohh Manik, koi bojh nahi hai yeh sab. Mene dekha hai tum bachho me scope hai ki tum sab wonders kar sako. Aur yaha jitne ameer baap ke launde seekhne aate hai mujhe usse kafi paise milte hai. Ab itna paisa kaha apne saath le jaaoonga.
Chalo ek deal karte hai. Mein tumhe instrument dunga. Sikhaoonga. Badle me tum...mere saath events karna. Free off cost. Na mein tumse paise loonga na tum lena. Fair enough??

Manik - mujhe kuch samay dijiye, mein sochke batata hu.

Teacher - umm.. Manik, agar orphanage me kisi aur ko bhi seekhna ho toh unhe bhi laana. Instruments mein arrangekarwa dunga. Hmm?? Mujhe yu bhi kuch logo ki zaroorat thi jo mere band me aaye.

Manik - ji sir.

Teacher - call me Raghav.

Manik - ji Raghav.

After that Manik left. And next day he came with Dhruv, Mukti and Aliya who showed interest in learning instruments than singing. So in morning Manik and Nandini learn singing while Dhruv, Mukti and Aliya learned dance. And in evening Manik, Dhruv and Mukti learned guitar whike Aliya had her interest in playing synthasizer / Casio. Raghav couldnt arrange the same kind of guitar for 3 people so he decided to give an acoustic one to Dhruv and an electronic guitar to Mukti.
Funny that he decided to give an acoustic one to Dhruv becaue of his shy and introvert perdonality and Mukti an electronic one because of the boldness she carry with herslef.
