Katniss pov:

I sit here thinking of what I'm doing with my life, most of all I have been sitting on my bed thinking of my dad, who is dead...

My name is Katniss Everdeen I am 18 years old. My dad died in a car accident 5 years ago and now I am left with my sister Prim and my mom, not that I don't love prim because I hate my mean mom. My sister prim is an angel she has blonde hair and blue eyes, and looks nothing like me, I have gray eyes and chocolate brown hair, I look more like our dad she looks more like our mom.

My mom has been in a deep depression ever since our dad died, until she remarried Plurch and he is the principle at my highschool. Back to the were I am now, just on my bed worrying about school tomorrow, not that I am nervous but I just don't like school I get very badly bullied, but my grades are usually at least A &B's.

So this is my life, and little did I know that my first day was going to be bad and crazy. Then I go to sleep only to be haunted by nightmares.

Nightmare:

I'm in the meadow with my dad, we are both laughing at something funny, then I see it. A wolf pack starts coming out of the woods, me and my dad start trying to climb up a tree I go first then him. But just as he is about half up the tree, a wolf comes and jumps up and bites his leg, he screams as the wolf pulls him down and eats him.

"DADDY DADDY!" I scream, but but it is to late he is dead. My best friend is dead and there was nothing I could have done.

End nightmare:

I wake up sweating everywere that was a scary dream, but I know that it will only get worse from here on out. Will anyone be able to save me, or am I all alone?
