Chapter five.

Alli's p.o.v

As soon as we got to the car I could tell Chaz was upset he was walking slow and pouting. I opened his door and picked him up. I glance at Charles who was watching Chaz as I buckled him in. "Chaz what did you mommy say when she walked into target with you?". Charles asked in his fatherly voice. "Not to leave her sight.." Chaz said quietly. "Then why did you do it? Someone could have took you or anything!". Charles said as he raised his voice. I got into the passenger seat. "Char.." I said wanting him not to burst out at our five year old. "Chaz, your grounded. No baseball for a week". Charles said. "I hate you both!". Chaz shouted. I gasped he's never said that too us before. I felt like I was going to cry. "Do you want me to make it two weeks?". Charles warned. I looked back to see Chaz with his arms crossed with a big frown on his face.

We got to my parents. I got out first and Charles got Chaz. I looked back to see Chaz with his head on Charles shoulder. Daddy's boy. I hugged my both my parents. Charles put Chaz down and he went straight to my dad. I told my mom everything that happened today. "What? Alli he would have been mad, I'm sure he never meant to say

that". My mom explained. "I know, I'm just so shocked that he said that, he's a good kid." I say as I feel tears running down my face.
