Am I a mistake?

Chaz's p.o.v

I slowly followed mom and dad, mom was pushing Ariana's stroller and I walked my slowest behind them. Mom went into a girly shop. So me and dad stayed outside. Me and dad were sitting on a bench while he was on his phone. I looked up and saw.. No it can't be.. Stan and his friends.

"Chaz, I'm just gonna take his call, I'll be right back". He said walking away.

I sat on the bench looking down at my feet then fell off the bench. I knew Stan pushed me so I stood back up.

"Your mom and dad are too busy for you, your a mistake!", he shouted. All his friends laughed. What's a mistake? Am I one?

"Leave me alone please", I said quietly. All his friends looked at me and started walking closer to me. I didn't know what to do so I started backing up. Why are they getting faster? I quickly turned around and started running. I ran down the stairs and around a fountain. I turned around and they weren't there. I can't believe I just got away. I started running again, too try and find dad until I ran into someone and fell fat on my butt. I looked up... It was Stan.

"What did I tell you!". He shouted and punched me in the face. I started crying because it hurt.

"Shut up you are a mistake! Your mom and dad hate you!", he shouted then walked away laughing. I thought someone would help but everyone was at the other side of the mall. I stood up and wiped my tears. I walked back to where dad was. He saw me and ran towards me. I can't stop crying. Whatever I do I can't tell him what happened, he will think I'm a wimp.

He picked me up.

"Chaz, where were you? I was so worried!", he said. I was still crying.

"Chaz, look at me". He said. I shook my head into his neck.

"Chaz, c'mon". He said. I looked at him.

"What happened?!", he asked.

"I-I-I-". I couldn't say anything because I was crying.

"Okay, okay, calm down", he said. I saw mom walking to dad.

"What happened?!" She said. I put my head back onto dads shoulder.

"Baby, what happened?". She asked. She touch my face. "Mom!", I shouted because it hurt.

"Sorry, your head is starting to bruise sweetie", she said.

"I-I.. Fell.. D-down these s-stairs". I lied pointing to the big stairs.

"Aw, dude be careful next time okay?" He said.

"I think it's time to go" mom said. Dad put me on his hip and started walking next to her.

"Can I get a toy?" I asked. Mom gave me the look. Puppy dog eyes time.

"Fine but only one toy" she said. We walked inside the toy store and dad put me down. I walked over to the superman stuff. Okay I have to pick between, batman, captain america, hulk, iron man, or superman, hmmm. I choose batman! He was like a teddy. I grabbed him and walked over to mom and dad who were looking at toys for Ariana.

"Can I have him?", I asked. Dad looked down at me.

"Sure dude". He said taking batman away from me. After dad got me my toy he carried me back to the car. I wonder why he's not letting me walk? Dad out me in my car seat and buckled me up. He gave me batman and then closed the door.

We got home and mom took me too the kitchen she picked me up and sat me on the counter.

"This will help". She said as I felt something cold on my head.

"I don't like it". I said throwing the cold thing on the floor. She looked at me.

"Chaz, we do not throw things, okay. I'm going to run you a bath and until I get back you will be in time out". She said picking me up and putting me on the time out chair. I watched as she walked up the stairs. I turned around to see dad tickling Ariana, Should I tell him what really happened today? No he'll be mad that I lied.

"Chaz, you can come out of time out now! Your bath is ready!". I heard mom shouted. I stood up and ran up the stairs and into the bathroom.

"Okay, let's get you in the tub". She said taking off my clothes. Then she put me in the bath.

"Is there plenty of bubbles?". She said.

"Yeah". I giggled. Maybe I should ask her.

"Mom?". I asked. She was making my hair wet.

"Yes baby?". She asked.

"A-am I a mistake?". I asked.

"What! No Chaz! You were never a mistake! Who said this and where did you hear it from?!". She shouted.

"A-a boy called me it today", I said looking down at my bubbles.
